Sportradar are looking to bring in an experienced, customer-driven Sales Director to manage and develop our Enterprise accounts in Asia. The successful candidate will report to the VP, APAC Sales and will have a significant impact on the growth of our business. Our international environment, direct client communication and portfolio of technically oriented products and services make this position very diverse and challenging.

THE CHALLENGE:

• Develop and drive our business in the region through regular communication with C-suite executives, establishing yourself as a trustworthy and knowledgeable individual capable of influencing decision making at management level.
• Use all available resources to identify and cultivate sales opportunities to cross-sell and upsell; manage pipeline, revenue forecasts and sales activities to ensure data accuracy.
• Be the link between the client and internal development teams during the product integration phase.
• Work closely with marketing and product teams on presentations, product demos and on-site customer visits; devise new approaches to problems and work with the relevant internal teams on enhancing our capabilities and market reach.
• Contract preparation, creation and submission of proposals, sales information and presentations.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Communication and Presentation: This role requires strong verbal skills in English and Mandarin, other Asian languages such as Japanese and Korean are highly desirable. The ideal candidate shall display executive presence and confidence in customer and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge and Experience: You are expected to have a strong understanding of data and API products and specific experience in dealing with both B2B and B2C companies; those coming from an iGaming or bookmaking background will be given priority.
• Relationship Management: Proven track record of building and managing relationships with senior executives in complex organisations and the ability to read people and flexibly adjust your approach depending on circumstances.
• Creativity: You are strongly encouraged to think outside of the box, to anticipate situations and find solutions before they emerge.
• Independent and results-oriented attitude; highly motivated and enthusiastic about new challenges
• Significant regional experience and ability to travel around Asia up to 25% of the time.

Progress Tracking and Reporting:

• Support the Feature Team in measuring and consistently tracking progress.
• Prepare and assist with communication to all levels of management, including presentations and documents for project progress reports and relevant meetings (e.g., monthly steering committee, superusers).

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that meet both strategic and operational needs.
• Utilize matrix reporting for project progress tracking and reporting.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management (running Scrum Agile) in software delivery, preferably in the Logistics, Supply Chain, or Technology industries.

Certifications:

• Certifications in Agile (e.g., SCM, SAFE) are compulsory. Change Management certifications (e.g., PROSCI) are a plus.
