This role will report directly to the Director, Investment Risk.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the fixed income risk manager in risk identification, monitoring and review of portfolio and firmwide risks (with a focus on fixed income and credit portfolios):

1. Monitoring, analysis and reporting of portfolio and firmwide exposure to ensure that portfolios comply with the stipulated risk limits, analyze the reasons for any breaches, and escalate to higher authority if necessary
2. Set up and maintain risk guidelines in the enterprise system to ensure that the guidelines are correctly coded
3. Support the annual risk limits review and calibration
4. Support credit and counterparty risk management activities to facilitate new business initiatives and existing portfolios including onboarding of new instruments
5. Maintain and enhance existing investment risk related automated workflows and processes
6. Improve and maintain risk related data in risk systems and rectify any data quality issue in a timely manner

• Contribute to any ad hoc projects and business initiatives e.g. process/workflow enhancements, regulatory and audit requests, and enhancement of risk systems etc.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, Financial Engineering, Computational Finance).
• Professional certification e.g. FRM, PRM, CFA, CPA, CAIA or progress towards such qualifications will be well-regarded

Experience and Skills

• Excellent understanding of investment risk concepts, financial instruments (sovereign bonds, credits and equities) and derivatives.
• Technically proficient in at least 1 coding language (e.g. Python, VBA etc), SQL, and data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with financial systems such as Barraone, RiskMetrics, FactSet, Simcorp, or Bloomberg would be a plus
• Proactive, mature, independent, fast learner and ability to think outside the box
• Unafraid to challenge status quo in a constructive and collaborative manner
• Meticulous, rigorous, and analytical
• Good interpersonal skills and collaborative team player

Job Description:

Provide technical project management services to support security and facilities projects throughout Customer’s North American portfolio, managing defined scopes of work on projects from inception through completion.

b. Documentation and/or Reporting:

• i. Provide regular, holistic, “single source of truth” updates for other teams and stakeholders to ensure the accurate status of each project.
• ii.Manage integrated project schedule including dependencies to/from related projects (IT and facilities).
• iii. Manage vendor/external project managers to ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget, using compassionate escalation when necessary.
• iv. Communicate and seek approval of project concept, drawings, and finishes; keep stakeholders informed of progress
• v.Coordinate the activities of the project teams and assist in design/construction conflict resolutions or value engineering when/where necessary
• vi. Complete design review with stakeholders ahead of work orders being placed
• vii.Prior to the start of any project, the Project Manager will:
• • Define project scope, collect requirements, and review expectations
• • Identify project milestones and track project deliverables
• • Develop and update project plans, schedules, and resource documentation
• viii. Monitoring of the procurement schedule throughout the project’s duration to ensure that technology components are ordered in a timely manner
• ix. Manage project delivery: coordinate with internal and external parties (ex: General Contractors, cabling contractors, network engineers)
• x.Identify project milestones and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• xi.Responsible for facilitating project team meetings effectively, holding regular status meetings and/or calls to communicate relevant project information.
• xii.Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully, resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
• xiii. Coordinate and manage change order requests to achieve project goals/milestones.
