Jobs Descriptions:
As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the clients' full sets of accounts, from purchase, sales, and cash journals to the general ledgers and management reports. You may be assigned to different working places at the client's office when requires. Therefore, being an outspoken person and willing to travel independently to the client's office is preferable.
You will also be preparing GST reports, schedules, and any other reports required by the clients and/or the authorities before the due dates. These are some of the key duties you will be doing.
You have to cover some other secretary roles, admin, and ad-hoc duties as at when requires. It is a great learning opportunity for you to handle the clients.
Jobs Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 1 to 2 years of working experience
- Able to work independently
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments that are assigned by the management
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Basic knowledge of GST rules and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft office as Excel and Word
- Proficient in Accounting Software such as MYOB, Quickbook, Autocount, Sage 50 and etc.
- Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
