Job Descriptions:

1. Management reports:

• Prepare monthly trial balance and balance sheet schedules,
• Prepare monthly and quarterly projects’ reports, ie. Payable, Receivable, and cash flow,
• Prepare monthly office cash flow and analyse cash flow balance fluctuation,
• Monitor prepayment schedules and prepare amortisation slips.

2. Review projects payment, receipt and journal slips.

3. Support yearly financial audit, mainly in preparing audit schedules to the external auditors and attending auditors’ queries. Audit schedules, for instance, but not limited to accounts receivable, prepayments, other assets, completed project listing and leases.

4. Assist in a joint venture entity (JV) accounts and GST:

• Prepare GST and file GST returns to IRAS,
• Support JV entity and JV partner’s yearly financial audit, mainly in preparing audit schedules to the external auditors and attending auditors’ queries,
• Placement of time deposit, and
• Renew of business registration with ACRA before expiry date.

5. Support Head Office accounting request as and when.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement a high-level effective PMO/project management framework and execution methodologies, incorporating necessary project management processes as required

• Manage a portfolio of numerous regional projects, including personnel, project schedules, technical oversight, team development, supporting of budget preparation and financial reporting

• Oversee teams of project managers, architects, engineers and/or other consultants to deliver mission critical projects on time, to budget and to the highest quality

• Establish formal reporting arrangements on regional projects

• Support development of project scope documents, quality standards, project-specific technical specifications and relevant drawings.

• Review relevant master schedules and other reports as necessary to ensure timeline is met

Responsibilities

At DSC Service Logistics, it is about getting the right parts to the right place at the right time, to keep your operations running smoothly so you never let your customers down. This APAC role maintains SL network service performance based on the Service Logistics standards.

1. Network Performance and Improvement:

• Data analysis to clarify KPI underperformances and aid in program management (Root cause analysis and Improvements).
• Leverage regional resources to support KPI program management, e.g., IT team.
• Lead KPI reporting in global forums, BRM, and APAC SMT.
• Review service performance against the SLA and follow up on corrective actions (GNO KPI).
• Work across functions in the regional team to ensure alignment of network performance across accounts.
• Drive network improvement initiatives and conduct network optimization studies.
• Analyse and implement customer improvement projects, managing and implementing corrective action plans as required.

2. System & Data Management

• Advocate for prompt BAU changes to SLDP and SPC, ensuring configurations are always up-to-date.
• Oversee all BAU changes on PBR and SPCDB, ensuring configuration correctness and compliance with all standards and requirements.

3. Communications:

• Create and promote awareness of the SL standard across the network.
• Lead SL communication across the network (regional and countries) and with customers, including sharing success stories and other relevant information.
• Facilitate monthly APAC Performance Community forum and contribute in the monthly Global Performance Council forum.

4. Change Management:

• Execute effective change management by informing changes in the process and ensuring end-to-end implementation.
• Oversee the successful completion of new initiatives, solutions, and services.
• Use the CAPA process to drive corrective actions to improve performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, ideally you would have experience working in a matrix MNC organization structure and across different countries in APAC, interest in logistics industry and is data-savvy.
