The College of Integrative Studies (CIS) at Singapore Management University (SMU) invites applications for a full-time Lead Faculty Fellow for SMU's student accommodation, Prinsep Street Residences (PSR). The Fellow will also concurrently be appointed as a faculty member of the College of Integrative Studies and may hold either a tenure track or term-track appointment, commensurate with his or her qualifications.

The Lead Faculty Fellowship is a renewable 4-year administrative appointment. The successful candidate will:

For CIS

• Undertake Undergraduate teaching on the university’s Core Curriculum, especially on the Freshman Big Questions team-taught module; and provide mentoring/advising to CIS students.

For PSR

• Provide overall leadership on the ground for the PSR admin team and the undergraduate collegiate experience at PSR.
• Manage PSR’s biannual admissions exercise as well as the selection and training of student leaders (Resident Seniors and Block Leaders).
• Reside at PSR and be based in an on-site office and be available to students during the week and on some evenings and some weekends. The successful candidate will be entitled to free accommodation at PSR.
• Oversee, with the support of the Associate Fellows (also faculty) of PSR, the College of Graduate Research Studies Fellow (who also resides at PSR), the admin team and student leaders, in organising residence-based events and activities
• Act as a main point of contact between the administrative staff of the different departments at SMU responsible for the effective functioning of the residence and the PSR student experience (eg: building maintenance, student counselling services, etc).
