Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the transmission of documents and drawings to the client and subcontractor to ensure the updated drawings are issued.
• Prepare method of statement and work procedure
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update progress of work
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and all government and safety regulation are complied
• Oversee drawing management and control of technical documentation
• Manage procurement of resources, monitor and control material usage on site to avoid unnecessary wastage or wrongly usage.

Department information
The Engineering Project Management department is a team of experienced professionals who are assigned to projects to manage the technical scope of the project and to ensure the technical scope is executed in compliance to contractual requirements, internal and external codes, standards and regulations within budget and schedule.

Role description

The Deputy Site EPM will initially be based in the module yard and will report to the Site EPM, and (dotted line) the Construction Manager. The deputy Site EPM will transition to the integration yard after module load out. The Deputy Site EPM is the designated deputy for the Site EPM in the event of non-availability.

As deputy Site EPM you will:

• be the first point of contact for Site Engineering and Construction teams for engineering related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy and Pre-Qualification

Bid Management

• Facilitate internal alignment on bidder selection and lead final negotiations to resolve outstanding price items and terms prior to awarding contracts.

Budget Management

• Monitor and manage procurement package costs to ensure alignment with approved project budgets and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with the Estimating Team to provide bid price information for database updates, benchmarking, and future project planning.

Contract Administration

• Draft and finalize Letters of Award and Contract Documents, ensuring timely and proper execution by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare notices to the client, including applications for Substantial Completion or Taking-Over Certificates.
• Align subcontractor and supplier deliverables with client Head Contract requirements.
• Negotiate and resolve all claims and changes to facilitate final account settlement.

Project Close-Out

• Implement structured project close-out procedures, including final documentation for bonds, warranties, and signed final accounts.
• Complete subcontractor and supplier performance evaluations to inform future project planning.

Interfaces

• Collaborate with project teams, estimating teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Professional Experience & Education

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with SIA Form of Contract, PSSCOC, and other international contract forms.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and project specifications.
