Morgan McKinley is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project plans to effectively coordinate and manage project activities.
• Ensure the integrity of backup processes, security protocols, and user help systems.
• Operate smaller budget projects with precision and attention to detail.
• Engage in consultations with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to foster cooperation and address issues.
• Provide world-class technical support to users across software, hardware, and integrations.
• Acquire proficiency in the Workplace product and associated support tools.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs reported by customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries and accurately reproduce their issues for engineering to develop solutions.
• Assist with other customer support responsibilities as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
• PMI or PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
• Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and techniques for optimizing manufacturing and distribution.
• Understanding of business and management principles involving strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Basic knowledge of computer programming languages and technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and REST APIs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead and drive number and revenue targets across selected markets
• Working closely with the Senior Lead to develop a comprehensive recruitment and marketing plan which includes participation in recruitment activities such as exhibitions, seminars, alumni events to meet the set student admission targets
• Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment, monitoring application and admission trends, and reporting on all phases of recruitment process to the Regional Recruitment Office
• Achieve student admission targets through the established channels of recruitment agents and feeder schools and universities
• Lead conversion activities including attendance at events and discussions with potential students and their parents and offer education advice and guidance
• Managing assigned country budget allocation, prepare reports and forecasts as required
• Manage effective launch of new programmes in-country
• Enhance SIM’s in-market value proposition to differentiate against competitive offerings
• Identify, maintain and develop relationships with key bodies including embassies, government agencies and private sector companies (for creating internship, career and sponsorship opportunities)
• Developing, maintaining and managing strategic working relationships, partnerships and activities with key stakeholders (internally and externally)
• Providing administrative support

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business, international relations, or field of study with a global orientation
• Experienced in Sales/Business Management with evidence of achieving sales targets
• At least 5 years of working experience, proven skills in Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Partnership management
• Flexibility and ability to deliver tasks/projects within timelines
• Experience in formulating strategies, budget and strategic planning
• A good combination of high intelligence, emotional and cultural quotient
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player

Skillsets (Good to have)

At least 1 year experience in systems development and / or business process improvement initiatives. Preferably with project life cycle experience in Financial Services Industry in the following areas:

2. Customer Centre
3. Wealth / Loan / CASA product knowledge
4. Education : Bachelor / Diploma Degree holder

• Ensure compliance with terminal, operators, oil majors and charterers’ requirements.

Requirements:

• COC Class 1
• At least 2 years of experience onboard tanker and shore-based in ship management.
• Strong supervisory experience with good oral and written communication skills.
