What you will be working on

You will play a key part in supporting Self-Employed Persons (SEPs) to enhance their healthcare savings. You will collaborate with intermediaries to manage and optimize programs like Contribute As You Earn and Drive and Save, which empower SEPs to steadily build their MediSave accounts through consistent contributions.

In this role, you will:

• Design and execute strategies to optimise the collection of MediSave contributions from Self-Employed Persons, ensuring smooth coordination with intermediaries such as government agencies and private sector partners.
• Work closely with both internal teams and external partners, including IT colleagues and vendors, to identify opportunities for system enhancements that will streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

(A) JOB SUMMARY

• Manage daily patient's discharge and preparation of their bills including weekends and public holidays (on rotational basis).
• To coordinate requests for information by insurers, medical concierge prior to admission, inflight and post discharge.
• Establish good working relationship with insurers, medical concierge including medical clinic staff.

(B) PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist to provide bill estimation to insurers, medical concierge and any other information relating to the issuing of a LOG before patient's admission.
• Work with clinic to facilitate insurers issuing a LOG.
• All insurance guaranteed cases must be supported with a LOG from an approved insuers unless otherwise stated without which, the bill must be fully settled on the day of discharge. To advise patient to seek reimbursement from their insurers directly.
• For inflight cases, ensure all documentations provided are in order, the amount covered is sufficient to cover the bill amount otherwise to trigger an email to the insurer to top up the coverage before the patient's discharge.
• During discharge, work with BO and PSC to ensure that non-covered amount such as companion charges, foreign insurers admin fee, room difference (if any) is/are collected before patient's leave the hospital otherwise to ensures some preauthorization amount is obtained from patient's credit card before leaving the hospital.
• Work with PSC and BO staff to manage sending the final bill with interim LOG to the insurer including the discharge summary within a week from date of discharge.
• To assist insurers/medical concierge on requests for reports, summary/detailed bills, discharge summary, etc to facilitate them to process the bills.
• Final LOG will be provided by insurers/medical concierge and to forward it to BO AR team to send final bill to insurers for payment.
• Assist in reviewing workflows and processes on a regular basis.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.

(C) REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of a polytechnic diploma graduate
• Preferably 1-2 years in a healthcare settings, preferably with some insurance background,
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• A detail oriented and ability to multitask
• 5.5 days work week 8:30am to 5:00pm / Sat or Sun 8:30am to 1pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
• Develop product specifications and design test procedures and standards.
• Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions.
• Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
• Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
• Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software.
• Responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
• Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
• Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical or information technology
• At least 8 years of experience for Product development, project implementation, sales and proposal exercise.
• Database structure design skill for Oracle or SQL database.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistic, Tank Farm project knowHow.
