To be ISO-Team representative as a Project Supervisor to manage and supervise the project at site.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• Supervise and manage the project (R&R / A&A) works.
• Liaise and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, and Vendors on all project matters.
• Be a lead contact point for any and all matters specific to the Clients for the projects that you are in charge of.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and meet Client’s satisfaction.
• Plan all activities to ensure that it is adequate for Clients, products, and system conformance.
• Engage and oversee all project work to ensure successful completion as well as hand over to the Clients.

(B) General :

• Prepare and submit necessary report(s) as required by Clients.
• Maintain and maintain all the documentation for the projects.
• Work with other departments as well as supervise the project works.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety :

• Follow the safety procedures, rules, and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazards at the workplace.

Job Requirements

(B) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Diploma or Nitec in Building / Certificate in Civil & Structural Engineering or related field.
• Job holders without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(C) Knowledge & Skills :

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• PC literate and knowledgeable in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project)
• Positive and good working attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• A good team player and willing to be stationed at the site office.
• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving license.

(D) Experience :

• Preferably 2 years working experience in Building Construction Industry

Candidate must possess at least Polytechnic Diploma/

Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent

At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related fields

Required Skill(s): MS OFFICE, AUTOCAD, DRAWING INTERPRETATION

Site coordination in architectural works / mechanical & electrical works

Preparation of detailed drawings, shop drawings and as-built drawings

Prepare reports as per drawings.

Other adhoc duties as and when directed.

Project management - ensuring project is executed according to contractural conditions within schedule and budget allocations.
Reports to the Managing Director and Senior Project Manager.
Responsible for the coordination and interface with clients, consultants and sub contractors for timely execution of all project activities.
Prepare master programme.
Delegare and assign duties to site staff under his/her charge
Control the use of site resources and overall project costs on site.
Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risks.
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Min 3 years relevant construction field experience in Singapore
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Able to work within tight schedules and fast turn-around times.
Have a good interpersonal communication and people management skills.
Proficient in MS Project and strong knowledge in project management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Execution of projects:

Ensure the successful and timely execution of projects professionally within the budgetary cost and contractual completion time given by the Sales Department.

Ensure the accurate documentation of all activities /transactions.

Preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM)/production order before the commencement of the kick-off meeting.

2) Payment: Check with the Sales Department about the down payment, LC, or other payment methods before the commencement of procurement of items.

3) Workshop Drawings: After populating the BOM with all the items, work with the Design Department on generating Workshop Drawings

(GA / P&ID / Electrical drawings).

Obtain the client’s official approval on all drawings before

any commencement of works.

4) Engineering: Check the correct sizing of components (e.g. motors, pumps, valves & instrumentations).

In case of any changes, ensure other related components are correctly sized.

5) Master Production: Update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and inform relevant departments of the strict compliance to

the delivery schedule, in consultation with the GM.

6) Kick-off Meeting: Mini-lead project kick-off meeting for the dedicated

projects handled with all critical information established

(e.g. BOM, Gantt chart, lead time)

7) Lead Time: Consistent follow-ups and confirmation from

Procurement Department on the ETA especially lead-time and technical specifications with the help of the

Design team.

: Communicate with customer in case of any changes

after discussion with the Sales Department, if authorized by

GM.

8) Factory Acceptance Test

(FAT)

: Attend together with the Engineering Department to

ensure complete factory testing is accomplished before

generating the in-house testing reports as records for the client

before delivery of the project.

9) Site Visit / Meeting: If necessary, attend and write minutes of meeting for

recording purposes at the site; and insert these in Project

File, provided site meetings are held.

10) Sub-contractor: Engagement and coordination with sub-contractors

services upon approval of GM for any ongoing projects.

Ensure the quality of sub-contractor work is strictly

according to requirements.

• Salary Range: S$3,500 – Maximum S$4,000 (depends on experience and profile)
• Working Location: (the nearest MRT is Tuas West Road - 3 mins walk)
• Working Hours: 8.00AM to 5.30PM, Monday to Friday (5 days work week)
  • A minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – only this field of study is accepted.
  • Must have at least 2 years of Project Management experience.
  • Possess knowledge in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawing.
