• Min. 5 years in a customer facing role in freight forwarding, shipping line, air cargo, logistics, supply chain or similar industries, in the roles of business development, sales, commercial, operations or customer service.
• Knowledge of customer retention and experience in dealing with customers
• Strong customer focus and service ethics
• Proactive, independent and able to multi-task and work in a start-up environment
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good consultative sales techniques and well-developed negotiation skills
• Possess a high level of honesty, integrity, and ethics
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executives
• Ability to handle the competing requirements of different stakeholders and work collegiately
