• A Project Director (PD) will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. They must have a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management skills.
• Co-ordinates all project activities to ensures that corporate policies, processes and procedures and adhered to.
• Proactively resolves performance, scope, schedule and cost issues with the customer.
• Achieves milestone payments by the customer and ensures that the right systems are in place so that the staff are competent, committed and fully utilised.
• Ensures all statutory requirements are met and co-ordinates bids and feasibility study activities.
• Monitors overall performance and continuously analyses performance to detect and avoid problems and to seize improvement opportunities.
• Monitors and maintains a balanced approach to contractor rates and liaises with client on this issue.
• Provides regular reports to Senior Management on Project Performance and highlights only problem areas.
• Presents monthly reports to client and presents progress reports to Clients Board.
• Liaises regularly with the customer and Joint Venture partner to ensure all parties are kept up-to-date throughout all stages of the project.
• Manages all cost and schedule aspects of the project and ensure prompt identification and resolution of change orders for cost and schedule with the client.
• Liaises with commercial teams to ensure competitive bids are received that match technical and commercial requirements and deals with development of contract terms and conditions.
• Ensure 100% integrity and transparency is maintained at all time.
• Provide visible HSE leadership and allocate sufficient resources for HSE.
• Ensure HSE training needs and skills for Project Team are identified, conduct formal/informal site visits, inspections and risk assessments, regularly monitor and review HSE issues and performance of project and implement corrective action and report and communicate on project HSE issues/incidents.
• Assure accountability of project line managers and supervisors.
• Ensure the Project Team are provided with and have a clear understanding of the associated Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure that an integrated team culture exists and that the project team / taskforce personnel fully understand the scope and execution strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Master/Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in relevant fields such as Biopharmaceutical, Data Centre Life Science, Semiconductor Plants Projects.
• Knowledge of project management, preferably PMI certified PMP.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate all various trade works including shop drawings for project

· Supervise and inspect all works carried out by sub-contractors

· Ensure compliance with specifications, and achieve quality aspect.

· Coordinate and liaise with all services with other trades on site

· Carry out works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation

Requirements:

· Possess minimum education qualification of a Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Architectural from a recognized institution

· Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in ID

· Familiar with local building regulation, BCA CONQUAS and other Quality Mark Assessment

· Strong analytical mind, good organisation skills and strong sense of responsibility

· Strong communication and customer service skills

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead a team to deliver project on schedule and within budget
• Do overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet targets
• Manage risks, issues, budgets and scope throughout the project life-cycle
• Responsible for all construction site matters including safety and other compliance matters
• Ensure all works carried out meet with Clients/Company’s quality standards and requirements
• To meet Government / Statutory / Government Agency’s regulations/requirements at all times

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Civil Engineering accepted by Singapore PE Board/BCA
• Minimum 8 years experiences as a Project Manager, exposures with major projects in Civil Engineering /Building Construction Industry
• Knowledge of best practices in Construction Project Management
• Excellent in Leadership, Analytical, Planning, Organisational, Communication, Presentation skills
• Build and maintain positive relationships with external clients/internal team members

Project Management

· To resolve all technical and non-technical issues

· To ensure the tracking and monitoring of items such as Variation Orders, Material Testing, Specialists Architectural Items, etc

· Assists Project Manager in verifying monthly progress claims / EOT claims

· Assists Project Manager in monthly progress reports

· Responsible for submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements and proposals.

· To ensure supervisors & chargehand met client & regulatory requirements.

· To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress.

· Involving in client/consultant/sub-contractor meetings

· To co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, materials, plant & equipment

· To resolve site issues with sub con

· Carry out project objectives to align with company goals

Project Budget Control

· Reduce material wastages on site.

· Maximise usage of machineries and equipment on site

· Reduce utilities on site.

· To control the allocated direct workforce effectively i.e. no. of direct workers and overtime etc.

· Follow approved construction method that is cost effective, productive & without compromising on Quality.

· Meet targeted progress of works so as to achieve the intended cash flow.

Technical Understanding

· Understands the drawings and scope of works

· Understands the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the project objectives

· Involve in providing value engineering solutions basing on his knowledge

· To have knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements

Job Requirements:

· Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / MEP or equivalent

· Preferably with full cycle of HDB project experience

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Report to the Project Manager.
• Need experience in Architectural metal works, metal cladding, Ceiling panels, Glass Wall, Glass Railing, Sky lights, Stainless Steel & Aluminium works.
• To assist Project Manager on the day-to-day management of the site.
• Lead site teams.
• Need to draw using autocad if any design urgent works.
• Site supervision, establishment of daily reporting, planning and scheduling of daily activities, coordinate subcontractors, etc.
• Establish good relationship with all relevant party.
• Ensure site safety & compliance to authorities’ requirements.
• Ensure Site required documents are in good order.
• Control the contractors work and quality of work for site in field.
• Measure and Estimate of contractor work and report to Project Manager.
• Manage day-to-day on a construction site and the main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone working on it.
• Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Will be responsible for overall project management and delivery of the project including planning, scheduling and execution.
