• Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues

Process and Delivery Execution

• Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
• Own the full project life cycle end to end (Hybrid between Waterfall and Agile)
• Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives
• Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manage the day-to-day project activities, including project management working and steering committees
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

Key Requirements

• Banking experience in Retail products, Operations, Process and operating models

• Experience in leading and executing large Credit Cards project covering acquiring and issuing. Experience on loyalty and rewards is a plus. (over 10 years is preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Review requested items for requisition and liaise with supervisors to determine the suitability of the material as well as identify and / or track overdue material requests.
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
• Familiar with construction material and specification.
• Monitoring and preparation of purchasing related reports.
• Check the quantity and condition of ordered materials to ensure they have arrived at the site properly.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as track record, experience, product lines etc.
• Maintain records of all purchases, pricing and other important data

Requirements:

• At least degree or diploma
• Minimum 5years as Purchaser or related position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel etc.)
• Experience in LTA MRT projects would be preferred
• Excellent in verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently

Management of Procurement of Goods

• Regularly review cost-out opportunities and ensure prices for goods are in line with relevant market rates, efficiently sourced, and procured in a way that creates the best value for the business.
• Lead accurate demand forecast with sales and marketing by successfully monitoring and communicating forecasts, changes, inventory estimates, supply situations, business risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.
• Identify and analyse sales trends and influencing variables and incorporate analysis in forecasting & inventory planning.

Strategic Sourcing

• Effective relationship building with key suppliers for all food/beverage raw materials, ingredients & packaging to meet business demands
• Work with the Sales and Marketing Team to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic initiatives that enable the business to meet its growth and profitability objectives

Policies, SOPs, Business Systems

• Collaborate with Finance team to ensure procurement management are aligned with corporate standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Import/Export regulations, compliance with the regulations

Job Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Business or other relevant field of study
• Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, most preferably meat and cheese sourcing/purchasing.
• Knowledge of Meat and Cheese imports.
