Business Analyst - Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Take a crucial role in various projects, including strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, and process re-engineering. Responsibilities will encompass business systems analysis and technical writing, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the organization and its core functions.
• Act as the primary liaison between Technology and specific business units, identifying requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that schedules and budgets are adhered to.

Key Requirements

• 10-16 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong foundational knowledge of technology and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), either waterfall or Agile. Familiarity with banking products is essential.
• Experience or exposure to ETL processes and MAS reporting regulations is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different levels and functions.
• Capacity to bridge the gap between technology and business, effectively conveying messages and requirements.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal guidance to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and managing the full life cycle R&D projects and product delivry by planning, organizing, executing and evaluating from conception to completion.
• Ensure successful delivery of project scope and targets while managing project risk, quality, delivery, scope, schedule, and budget.
• Partners with internal and external stakeholders to establish communication plans, build project schedules and establish clear project deliverables and milestones.
• Drive leadership by motivating project team members in the design, development, and delivery of R&D solutions to customers.
• Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of technical/engineering processes in order to work with teams throughout the project development cycle
• Track, monitor and report the progress of the project to all stakeholders
• -mplement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables and mitigate risk
• Overall project evaluation and assessment of results.
• Establish project lifecycle management procedures and best practices to ensure project teams maintain discipline needed to successfully complete their projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters in any engineering related discipline
• PMP certifications or equivalent is advantageous
• Proven track record of executing multiple successful projects
• At least 1 year of working experience in project management experience in related field (R&D, engineering)
• Strong business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
• Outstanding project management capabilities; i.e. planning, risk management, status reporting, budget tracking, stakeholder management, resource management
• Knowledge and understanding of re-manufacturing techniques and limitations
• A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

• Co-ordinate, program and monitor site work, material and workforce
• Attend site meeting and resolve technical issue with main contractor or consultant

• Ensure procedures, standards and guidelines are followed and maintained
• Able to produce working and As-built drawing including O&M manual

Job Description:

- Manage existing maintenance contract and lead efforts in preparing, analysing and negotiating of new contract.

- Chair regular contract performance meeting and maintain close communication with customer.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders (ie. Operation team) to ensure contract deliverables are met.

- Drive continuous improvement in work processes.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor of Business, Law, Engineering or related disciplines.

- Preferably experience in contract management and knowledge in military equipment.

- Highly motivated individual who is able to work independently and lead a team.

The Contract Manager is overall responsible for coordinating every aspect of the project from developing contracting strategies to implementation, coordinating with project team, ensuring project deadlines on contracting are adhered to and contract management.

Pre Award Contract:

• Ensure that pre-qualification exercises of subcontractor are completed prior to award of contracts
• To enforce procurement procedures are complied with in the tendering process. sourcing, preparation, issuance & management of Invitation to Tender/Request For Quotation/Proposal packages, evaluations and clarifications of submitted proposals through recommendation to award
• Review and negotiate Subcontractors’ qualifications and exceptions
• Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they in compliance with company policies
• Support legal team in the negotiation of terms and conditions with subcontractors

Post Award Contract:

• Liaise with Project Team members to ensure commitments and milestones of subcontracts are achieved and adhered to.
• Review evaluation of variation order request, variation orders, defending claims and providing contractual advice to site team.
• Monitoring contracts and negotiation of final account settlement, drafting settlement agreement
• Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with Subcontractors is efficiently handled and filed.
• Assist in Subcontract audits, reviewing records for accuracy and conformance to standards.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Drive GDC migration project end to end including data center setup and application migration tracking
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee procurement processes, maintain up-to-date RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensure timely escalation of critical matters to appropriate management levels for swift resolution
