- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.

- Sales Tracking & Reporting: Track sales progress and key performance metrics, ensuring goals are met. Report regularly on sales performance, trends, and areas for improvement to senior leadership.

- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about competitors’ offerings and trends in the insurance market, and work with the team to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

- Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Responsibilies:

1. Provide Technical support and update customers on project development timely.
2. Communicate and coordinate with customers and relevant parties pertaining to technical requirements and engineering aspect of the assigned projects.
3. Plan, monitor and control all assigned projects are delivered within the given schedule.
4. Work with inter-departments to ensure commited schedules are met.
5. Assist to prepare and compile contractual quotation for existing and new products as per customers' enquires.
6. Prepare and release job orders/purchase requisition to various departments.
7. Prepare and generate shipment documents for delivery.
8. Provide regular updates on project development timely.

Requirement:

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 2 years of relevant experience
• Able to interpret technical drawing and computer literate.
• Must be result oriented, resourceful and independent.

The person will be responsible for

1) Prepare & compile Monthly Progress Claim for all the projects;

2) Prepare & submit Variation Order for all projects where applicable;

3) Quantity Take-off;

4) Assist in monitoring & compilation of all ISO 9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001 documentation for Audit & BCA Accreditation;

5) Any others relevant task that maybe assign from time to time

Qualifications : Diploma in related field;

Experience : Fresh or 2 years relevant experience will be added advantage;

Assistant Project Manager

Salary Range: S$4,800 – S$5,500

Min Qualifications / Experience:

Diploma/Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering with 5 -10 years relevant experience

Job Skills Required:

• Hands-on expertise in sheet metal, structural platforms, and fabrication manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of welding, tube and pipe cutting and bending, structural design-to-build processes, painting, and general fabrication techniques.
• Competent in managing production planning, scheduling, and coordinating with external subcontractors.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Manager will perform the following duties, among others:

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and address concerns.
• Oversee overall project and production functions.
• Facilitate coordination among departments, clients, inspectors, and contractors to ensure smooth project operations.
• Participate in the subcontracting and purchasing committee to select reliable contractors and suppliers, evaluating cost and delivery schedules.
• Manage contractual requirements for all projects, including payment terms and variation orders.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve issues in projects.
• Plan, organize, and assign tasks to project engineers and fabrication teams for specific projects.
• Manage the project's budget and ensure all cost-control measures are effectively implemented.
• Ensure all variation costs for out-of-scope works are properly captured and claimed.
• Strategize for the development of company facilities and conduct training for department personnel.

• Job planning and supervise a small team of workers (<20).
• Record daily work done for each repair vessels in hard and softcopies, and follow-up with client to sign off Work Done Reports.
• Assist in co-ordination with engineering, vendors, sub-contractors, Classification Society and other 3rd parties as necessary.
• Track work progress, and follow-up on day-to-day operational issues.
• Inventory, store, tools and other monitoring duties are required.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and be resourceful in solving problems, thinking out of the box.
• Diploma/ITE with fields related to Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or other engineering.
• Experience in shipyard preferred with the necessary MOM passes, however, fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & MS Project.
• Singaporeans / Singapore PR / Malaysians or Foreigners holding relevant permits/VISA may apply.
• Driving license / own transportation will be a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written), other languages knowledge will be a plus.
• Overtime occasionally on weekends if necessary.
