• Manage change order/ variation claim from subcontractors and prepare change order/ in support of variation order claims to client, and keeping track of all change orders.

Requirements:

• Degree in any Engineering disciplines
• 3‐5 years of experience in contracts administration
• Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc. and onshore petrochemical plants will be an added advantage
• Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to commit overtime as and when required

1. Lead sales and operation / project team

2. Set direction and guide the project team for all the project

3. Ensure project all is provided with support and advise all aspects of project planning, execution, monitor and control

4. Value engineering, lean engineering and selection of equipments

5. Liaising with main contractor, owner, stakeholder & consultant

6. Check and ensure the scope of work for all the fire protection system and services

7. Prepare weekly, monthly report and project budget

8. Overseeing current project as well upcoming projects

9. Attend and conducting project review and attend meeting

10. Ensure the project delivery as planned schedule and manage operational cost within the budget

11. Prepare and submit authority required documents

12. Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations

13. Maintain customer relationship

14. Knoweldge in AUTO CAD & Revit

14. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Project Manager in design, project planning, construction and safety and quality management of projects and maintenance works to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.

Responsibilities:

• To assist the Project Manager on project site work by focusing mainly on the aspects of construction, safety quality management, and project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.
• Prepare method statements, design plans, and specifications.
• Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, authorities, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters.
• Develop projected milestone and operational plans for different phases of the project which includes scheduling, monitoring and reviewing of the work of others.
• Determine project requirements and estimate resources such as manpower, materials and equipment.
• Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and requirements of relevant authorities.
• Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements. Support contract administration and construction inspection by reviewing final plans, specifications, special conditions, and agreements.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), or equivalent.
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Familiar with Civil, Archi & Steel Structural Works
• Experience in process plants handling both consultants with client will be added advantage

• Assist the Account Manager to plan & execute projects from conceptualization to installation to dismantling

You will be part of the Engineering team to provide service to both local and overseas customer, which will involve maintenance and servicing of process equipment, installation, testing and commissioning.

THE ROLE: __________________________________________________________

* Conduct all aspects of service activities; include attendance to technical meeting and discussion with client, and overseas travel to support our regional market.

* Comprehend Electrical/ Mechanical/ Process and Instrument design and shop drawings.

* Working closely with Sales and Project teams in projects execution, plants and equipment installation, testing, commissioning, training, repairing and servicing.

* Candidate with prior experiences will have the opportunity to design and build customized solutions for client.

* Identify variation works and submit accurate cost implication

* Schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings, specifications and approved QA/QC checklists

THE PERSON: ________________________________________________________

* At least Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent

* Working experience in related field of Solids Bulk Handling, Powder Processing Machineries, Bulk Packaging Machines.

* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

* Possess good communication and facilitation skills, and the use of Microsoft Project, ACAD, Solidworks

* Valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore as added advantage

* Hands-on, practical and independent person who is able to travel

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management :

• Lead a project team to manage and supervise execution of production works and ensure delivery of assigned projects.
• Plan and prioritise the order of works and work methodology.
• Liaise with the project team to allocate adequate manpower and equipment resources.
• Monitor work progress on board vessels and in workshops.
• Chairs production meetings between Yard’s subcontractors, supervisor and ship’s staff to clarify work scope, co-ordinate sequence of work, update schedules and other contractual matters.
• Ensure works are carried out according to the job specifications in terms of quantity, quality and meeting Class/Owner requirements by developing commissioning / mechanical completion test plans and arranging for inspection and survey for the Superintendents and Classification.
• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

WSH Management :

• Chairs the Vessel’s Safety Co-ordination Committee Meetings to facilitate the safe execution of works in particular, hot work, incompatible work and potentially hazardous work.
• Administer, monitor and continuously ensure that all operations conform to safety requirements of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) Policy of the Yard.
• Be responsible for the overall safety and health of the work force under his supervision and charge.

Contract and Cost Management :

• Acts as shipyard’s main representative and be responsible for the refit / conversion / new build of the vessel as per owner’s contractual specifications / requirements.
• Administers the project specification and incorporates any changes in the work scope in the defect list.
• Assists to quote for work variations and facilitate billing as required.
• Maximises returns to shipyard and maintain project cost control.
• Establish and maintain an effective good project HSEQ programme to meet the established targets.

Customer Relations :

• Provide customer service, taking care of the needs of the Superintendent and Ship’s Officers.
• Good rapport and relationship with ship owners and representatives.
• Acts as project key contact person, actively involved in business / public relations through marketing visits, promotional activities and business entertainment.

Other features of job (Special requirement, shift or night work, travel, working conditions etc.):

• Knowledge of various workshops dealing with specialised works in the industry.
• Performs scheduled night duties and when required.
• Attends to vessel’s need during weekends and public holidays.
• Travels within the country or abroad for ship check or assist settlement of bills.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant apprenticeship training in a marine trade
• Minimum 2 years experience in a marine industry
• Good leadership skills and a good team player
• Possess interpersonal skills
• Capable of working under pressure
