• Material Inspection & Verification: Ensure all piping materials, fittings, and consumables meet ASME standards and project specifications through mill certificates and visual checks. Ensure material traceability by confirming that materials match project specifications and certifications (e.g., ASTM standards, material grades, heat numbers).
• WPS/PQR Compliance: Review and verify that Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) are qualified and comply with ASME Section IX, ensuring correct application on site. In PQR to ensure to verify for mechanical testing (Tensile, Impact, Bend, etc)

• NDT Supervision: Supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT) to assess the integrity of welds according to ASME acceptance criteria table.
• Piping Fabrication & Installation Inspection: Inspect piping fabrication for correct fit-up, alignment, and installation as per project drawings and standards, checking pipe supports, alignment, and joint integrity.
• Pressure Testing: Witness and approve hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure tests on piping systems, ensuring that the pressure holds for the designated duration as per the ASME code and client requirements. (Hydrostatic Test, Pneumatic Test, etc). Review and sign off on pressure test reports, ensuring that all safety and procedural guidelines were followed during the testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure assigned maintenance activities are carried out promptly.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, contractors, and users.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities.
• Diploma in Building Services, Estate or Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Property Development, or a related field.
• Experience in managing hard and/or soft facilities management activities, contractors, and stakeholders is an advantage.
• Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills. A positive and growth-oriented mindset is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with regulatory guidelines.

• Certifications such as Fire Safety Manager, Green Mark Accredited Professional, and/or Water Efficiency Manager are advantageous.
• Experience in managing sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy and water conservation. Conduct data collections and translate into dashboards for sustainability programs are advantageous.
• Willingness to be on standby and contactable 24/7 for emergencies.

Landfill Management and Operations Department (LMOD) oversees Semakau Landfill which is Singapore’s only landfill for waste disposal.

What you will be working on

The job description of an EE/SEE at Semakau Landfill (SL) are as follow:

• To supervise resident contractor in landfill operation, the operation and maintenance (O&M) of landfill equipment, vehicles and floating platform, and to ensure high availability of the landfill equipment to meet operational targets.
• To supervise resident contractor in the O&M of mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment, ensuring that they are operated safely, and regularly maintained to achieve high availability.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors in carrying out the work/services on site. Ensuring that all works are carried out safely, properly, according to schedule and do not disrupt landfill or M&E operations. Attend to defects rectification before full completion and acceptance of work done.
• To prepare and call quotations for the supply of spare parts for the landfill, M&E equipment and building maintenance services
• To perform any other works, duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we are looking for
