• Ensure overall safety well being of workers in the workshop as well as the on site during project execution
• Carry out at least one Monthly safety Audit using the Audit Checklist
• Attend and participate all Safety Meetings organized by Clients

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team in the marine field. The successful candidate will manage and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. The Project Engineer will coordinate on-site activities, working closely with designers, shipyards, and vendors to drive project success. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

The Lead Project Engineer is responsible for achieving project objectives within the defined time and cost framework while ensuring full delivery scope and quality. This role involves comprehensive project management, technical verification, and stakeholder communication to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Objectives & Delivery

• Achieve project objectives within the defined time and cost framework.
• Ensure the delivery scope and quality meet the desired standards.

Customer & Stakeholder Liaison

• Liaise with the Customer, End User, and/or appointed Engineering Contractor.
• Ensure technical compliance with specifications.
• Technically verify customer requirements for order processing.

Project Management & Execution

• Manage projects within budget and on schedule until customer acceptance and hand-over.
• Oversee tender evaluation and provide Project Management support.
• Source third-party components and manage subcontractors.

Documentation & Data Management

• Manage documentation required by the project.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor other project team members when necessary.

Progress Reporting

• Report regularly to the Project Department Manager on project progress.

• Office located @ Bukit Batok
• Working hours: 8.45 am – 6pm (6 Days alternate Sat off)

Job Responsibilities:

• Project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
• Assemble, coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project team.

• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Attend site meeting with main contractor, consultant, architect and client.
• Monitoring and follow up construction progress and progress claims.

Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical or Mechanical
• Min 5 years working experience
• Singaporean Only
