• Lead the investment into a new business by investing a certain amount of capital into the business in exchange for a certain percentage of equity in the company
• Analyze the financial statements regularly and discuss future business expansion plan with the partner in Sri Lanka to ensure that the company in portfolio produces high returns and maximize growth
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant budget control, budget planning, making investment plan and preparation of financial statements in the automotive industry
• Professional Certificate in accounting and finance would be an added advantage
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office software, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Strong in logical thinking, result oriented, focused on details, and able to multi-task, prioritize, and arrange tasks and schedules to delivery outcomes on time
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, effective communication, open minded, and positive attitude to coordinate among external partners and internal members
• Able to travel overseas to assigned countries like Sri Lanka depending on requirements (estimated 4 to 6 times a year)
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with industry professionals, company management, investors based overseas in Sri Lanka
• Proficiency in Sinhala and Tamil language to communicate and manage relevant stakeholders based overseas effectively would be an added advantage
• Prior working experience in a Japanese firm would be advantageous
