JOB SUMMARY
- As a Business Applications Analyst at YMCA of Singapore, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our business application systems that support our core organisational functions such as Finance, Human Resources, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You will lead efforts in projects requirement gathering, conducting gap and impact analyses, and ensuring that our business processes and applications align effectively and run optimally with our operational needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and collaborate with business stakeholders on the requirement gathering, gap and impact analysis process, working closely with department heads to identify system needs and optimize workflows.
- Create detailed documentation for As-Is and To-Be, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), and use cases.
- Design and implement solutions that enhance functionality and user experience in our key systems such as financial accounting, HR management, Student Management and CRM platforms.
- Manage projects related to the development and deployment of new software applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to users, ensuring effective deployment and proficient use of business application systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in business applications relevant to the non-profit sector.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and fostering productive partnerships.
- Develop test plans and test cases based on the requirements and functional specifications.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, changes, and issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Professional Experience:
- Experience in business application project, particularly with systems related to Finance, HR, and CRM.
- Proficiency in business requirements gathering, gap and impact analysis and documentation.
- Demonstrated at least 1 year experience of leadership in project and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Problem-Solving and Customer-Centric Approach: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. A comprehensive approach to systems thinking, recognizing the interconnections within enterprise business systems, and prioritizing the needs of customers and users
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Written and Verbal), capable of working collaboratively across various departments.
- Technical Skills (Good to have):
- Proficiency in Windows, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Internet technology.
- Experience with various application such as CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365), financial management systems (e.g., Oracle, Business Central).
- Strong knowledge of database management and data integration tools.
- Familiarity with project management and techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Experience in Microsoft Power Automate
