The Director, BPO for SMT will be entrusted with a broad portfolio of responsibilities to accelerate growth, drive and mitigate both short and long-term opportunities and challenges to ensure the cluster’s business performance is optimized.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Country and Functional leadership teams within SMT, as well as their broader teams across the region, to understand market landscapes, assist with Go-to-Market strategies that can help accelerate growth in their respective markets, and execute key strategic initiatives, including but not limited to business/market expansion, organizational re-design, multi-year strategic planning, and capability building. The successful candidate will also work in close collaboration with the corporate functions, to develop and manage scorecards and targets, performance management measures and metrics, and develop reporting and executive communication formats and cadences. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Planning and Operations for SMT.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Primary responsibilities:

• To deliver retail and PCS sales targets, without compromising the brand image
• Responsible for identifying and generating new project leads and sales opportunities through various channels and media in the Building and Construction industry, particularly in the Private House/Villa/Bungalow/Semi-D/Detached category
• To lead in sales negotiation, prepare and present sales proposals/quotations, as well as to liaise with internal operation teams for smooth execution and delivery of orders
• To establish, develop and maintain new/existing business accounts (Architects and Interior Designers) and effectively cultivating these pipelines to key accounts. This includes meeting new/existing clients to deliver presentations on company’s portfolio of brands and product updates
• To maintain proper records of sales funnel and update the team regularly on key opportunities

Job Specifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years in sales and marketing experience in sanitary or building/construction industries
• Ability to build good relations and network with Interior Designers, and Architects
• Self-driven, enthusiasm and can work independently

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements multiple HRMS projects (small to medium and large projects) simultaneously.
• Ensures that projects meet or exceed expectations by guiding all project activities to include, but not limited to, scheduling, scoping, configuring, testing, training, conducting user acceptance test and maintaining quality control.
• Analyses customer requirements, proposes system design, and prepares system demonstration environment and configuration.
• Partners with R&D team internally and with customer externally to design, test, and maintain any necessary integrations, as well as to ensure existing interfaces continue to run smoothly and provide accurate results.
• Provides proactive, strategic system consulting services representing HR-owned data.
• Provides knowledge and best practices on the system functionality.
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Technical Skills and Competencies

• IT Degree/Diploma or major in Information Technology or related area
• Minimum 1 year working experience HRMS Project Implementation.
• Familiar with Human Resources related processes
• Familiar with Singapore statutory leave policy, CPF computation.
• Good knowledge of Singapore statutory leave policy, overtime policy, CPF, SDL, Fund computation is a plus.
• Basic SQL knowledge for the checking data in database.
• Basic Excel functions for the Data Migration/Clean up.
• Candidates with fluent English skills and experience in multinational environments are preferred for effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration.

• Handle equipment in the salon
