Involves overseeing the technical operations of tanker vessels on tramping trade with Oil majors and oil traders.

This role typically includes ensuring the maintenance, repair, and compliance of tankers with international regulations, managing budgets, coordinating with equipment maker, shipyards, repair companies and suppliers, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the fleet. You should be independently assist ship staff in troubleshooting technical issues, and work closely with regulatory bodies, Classification societies, local administration to ensure adherence to SOLAS, MARPOL & prevailing maritime laws and safety standards. Regular overseas trips to inspect ships will be required. Ability to handle occasional work pressure. Requirements:

• Able to prioritise workload and handle the ship operations independently.
• Experience in operating ME-C engine, Framo system, BWTS and EGCS.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, your role as Business Development Manager for Singapore will be to drive new sales for Adecco Singapore in specific market segments. You will be responsible for securing new business opportunities in White Spaces and maximizing Small and Medium Enterprises revenue by selling all Adecco’s service lines (Staffing, Outsourcing, Permanent Placement) with the goal of overachieving budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Set-up Commercial Game Plan to enlarge sales funnel and ultimately increase revenue and market share
• Prospect new clients for Staffing, Outsourcing and Permanent Placement business lines, through business development actions
• Ensure rigor in the management of opportunities, with flawless internal and external stakeholder engagement, from prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, closing, contract implementation and handover to the delivery team
• Manage the Sales Pipeline in CRM and track the delivery of closed opportunities
• Report activity regularly

Key Requirements

• Minimum Degree Qualification preferred
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a sales function (preferably in a multinational environment), customer focused, with sound management skills
• Recruitment industry experience (including but not limited to staffing, outsourcing or permanent placement) would be ideal, B2B sales is a minimum requirement
• To be successful in this role, you need to be a tenacious hunter, a real doer
• Experience with Microsoft Packages, PowerPoint, Excel and CRM required

The Business Architecture Manager is responsible for:

• Post-Payroll activities, including provision for bonus, manage month-end/year-end closing, submission of IRAS Tax Declaration Annual Form 8E, and answer employee payroll enquiries.
• Regular review on compliance to statutory requirements.
• Supports and provides advice in structuring and developing the team to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day Payroll operations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and/or tax agents on payroll related matters.
• Acts as contact point to institutional Finance and HR Partners closely to ensure organizational readiness and capability to deliver business results.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as and when requested.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Commerce/Accountancy/HR or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant payroll experience with at least 2 years of supervisory role
• Meticulous with an eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiar with Employment and CPF Acts
• Ability to work in a high transactional volume environment
• Hands-on experience with SAP system and/or shared service payroll experience will be an added advantage
