Ability to identify and monetize the various opportunities across SBA’s group properties, including our Badminton Halls (eg. KFF Badminton Arena at Guillemard), our events (eg. Singapore Badminton Open, other events), our digital properties (website, mobile app, social channels), membership base, sponsors and patrons etc is the key focus for this role. The successful candidate will be expected to develop long-term strategic goals, foster collaborative relationships both within and outside of the group, and drive significant revenue success for the SBA group. The role reports to the Board of Directors with a dotted line to the SBA CEO, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction of the group and will play a vital role in its ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development, fund-raising and revenue maximization

. Liaise with potential sponsors and donors to raise funds for SBA group

· Maximize booking utilization, events and revenue from our Badminton Halls

· Market our Events (eg. Singapore Badminton Open) to successfully bring in sponsorship revenue

· Monetize our membership base via mobile app

· This role will have compensation attached to revenue attainment

2. Group Marketing Leadership for SBA:

● Provide innovative leadership in creating a marketing, branding and communication strategy, including developing long-term goals and an annual operating process to optimize the positioning of the group;

● Be a member of the crisis management team, managing the response to and communications around both planned and unplanned situations across multiple media to both the internal and external community as appropriate;

● Own and manage the marketing, communication and event budget to generate desired output.

3. Membership Management:

● Build customer experience and loyalty through benefits and rewards, by identifying the right partners and sponsors based on the group’s goals and strategies;

● Build campaigns and execute promotions or educational materials to promote and deliver such benefits, rewards, collaborations to target audience and customers;

Incident Management

IT Security Management

• Schedule security scan for identified systems according to policies and verify all vulnerability rectifications are satisfactorily performed.
• Conduct Security Review on System Access and administration patterns weekly, and report unusual or suspicious activities, if any, to SMO Head Office.
• Track, mitigate and deploy patch security vulnerabilities accordingly to the stipulated timeline. Maintain oversight and submit reports on monthly basis.
• Escalate and/or seek Client’s acceptance and approval of assessed risks.

IT Security Compliance & QA Management

• Ensure compliance status of the Systems adheres to applicable standards, polices, directives and guidelines.
• Declare, review and report compliance status to SMO head office annually.
• During audit exercise, work with stakeholders to provide responses and evidence to auditors or compliance related declarations.
• Provide a Rectification Plan on any gaps found.
• Provide rectification plan for issues arising from audit.
• Seek waiver on compliance whenever it is justifiable.
• Ensure all applicable standards, policies, directives, guidelines, deliverables and quality assurance records are filed and kept up-to-date for audit and review purposes.
• Work with Client on system enhancement required for policy changes and audit requirements.

The ideal profile should have / be:

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
