The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. The Manager – Business Development is responsible for Omron’s Digital healthcare business development in APAC. He/She will identify new opportunities, explore new potential business partners to unlock business value.

Key responsibilities:

1. Explore & secure potential business partner
2. Formulate short to long term strategy in relation to business expansion for APAC region
3. Conceptualize new business ideas & design the business model of digital healthcare field
4. Work with appointed business collaboration partner aligned to Global direction
5. Manage business collaborations & projects with business partners. Formulate appropriate performance metrices to track business performance of each project & phases. Report business and management performance to stakeholders on a timely basis.

Requirements:

1. Masters/Degree in Pharmaceutical Science.
2. Project management experience more than 5 years.
3. Digital healthcare business more than 3 years.
4. Proven experience in strategic thinking abilities.
5. Firm knowledge of accounting and finance (consolidation and analysis of PL/BS/CF).
6. Broad knowledge of business operations and processes.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Knowledge of corporate governance through management rules.
9. Proficient in the English and Japanese language, both written and verbal. This role is required to liaise with Japanese speaking counterparts internally & externally.
