Overall Job Purpose

Daily Operations

• Maintain strict cost control of the Annual Operating Budget for each of the assigned vessels.

• Review monthly cost control and approve monthly financial reports before sending to Fleet Group Manager for review.

• Assimilate input from the assigned vessels as well as other relevant departments and prepare each vessel’s Annual Operating Budget.

• Monitor the requisitions generated from the vessel to ensure that they are submitted in a timely manner. Follow up with the Purchasing Department for delivery of ordered items on board.

• Approve invoices for payment.

• Liaise with the Insurance Manager (or Principals) in H&M claims handling. Provide technical input, and cost information, if required, for P&I claims (cargo and crew) and H&M claims.

Crewing

• Make performance evaluations of Masters/ Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.

• Provide input to the Manning Department on recruitment of Senior Officers for the assigned vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

• Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.

• Arrange and follow up repairs and services.

• Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry-docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.

• Data Migration and Updates: Oversee data migration and updates during system upgrades or transitions from legacy systems.
• System Upgrades and Testing: Manage system upgrades, test functionalities, and maintain the latest version with minimal disruptions.

Project Implementation Support:

• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training with vendors, stakeholders, and end users, track application issues and upgrades closely.
• Maintain IT project training documentation and user guides.
  

Requirement

• Minimum diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Proficient in MS Office Full Suite including NAV ERP and Office 365, Windows server setting up, MySQL, IT Domain knowledge.
• Knowledge of F&B or Retail business IT workflow and ERP system interface.
• Prior project experience related to IOT tools on F&B Manufacturing & Distribution would be advantageous.
• Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, development, maintenance of applications and systems as well as IT production and management of the Bank's technical infrastructures.
• At the forefront of technological innovation, IT teams provide technical and functional support for the development activities and projects of the various Corporate and Investment Banking professions in an international environment.
• Design and development of AI/IA Generative models: Data preparation, feature engineering, training, evaluation, versioning, deployment and monitoring. Select the most appropriate models and techniques based on the available data and the objectives of the projects.
• Establish MLOps / LLMOps infrastructure: Define and implement a robust MLOps architecture to ensure the full life cycle of AI and Generative AI models from design to production. Automate model development, deployment and monitoring processes.Ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of models in production.
• Contribute to realisation of Rest API and development in Python, industrialisation of internal POCs and maintenance of embeddings. Ensure necessary documentation and support handover processes
• Work closely with business teams and other project stakeholders to understand their needs and translate their issues into scientific questions. Communicate the results of the analyses and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Coordinate with Cloud Centre of Excellence and Infrastructure teams to ensure project needs are addressed.

Qualifications and Profile

The successful candidate will definitely have:

• Experience required 2 to 7 years minimum in development of AI/ML technology solutions
• expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and MLOps.
• Knowledge of data management practices to clean, preprocess and transform data sets for model training
• Mastery of AI algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit, etc.)
• Knowledge of GEN AI and LLM technologies on the public Cloud using RAG patterns
• Understanding the ethical principles to better generate embeddings for GenAI.
• Expertise in Python, .NET or Java, DevOps / MLOps / LLMOps (GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker)
