Job Description

In this position, you will be tasked with facilitating and maintaining the vision or roadmap for change management and risk assessment systems at Micron; manage a team that is aimed at reducing overall process and product variation which will result in higher process margins, increased yield and quality.

You will work with Frontend Fabs and other central team resources (SMAI, OCT, CPIE, TD and IT) to provide strategic direction for change management and risk assessment systems and help coordinate the systems implementation across multiple facilities internationally.

You will be expected to develop your team, establish goals, provide coaching and training, and conduct performance appraisals. You will also identify staffing needs, recruit, interview, and make hiring decisions for your team.

Responsibilities and Tasks Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain and refine a change management systems roadmap and quality mindset programs going forward for WW alignment and continuous improvement of equipment and change control practices.
• Partner with Fabs, SMAI, OCT, CPIE, TD, and IT to ensure all business needs and processes are properly documented, validated, and escalated as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and direction
• Evaluate global needs for new change control and risk assessment systems.
• Cultivate global relationships. Support and mentor quality engineering teams worldwide by providing guidance.
• Work with subject matter experts to identify business process gaps and Best Known Methods (BKMs).
• Evaluate the quality of data collected, drawing conclusions based on this data and initiating follow-up action items.
• Present and discuss in depth all projects with respective key stakeholders.
• Demonstrate good project management, presentation, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstrate being a "Team builder" with strong focus on effective team dynamics and distributed responsibilities.
• Develop eventual reports, identifying their strengths and weaknesses and creating an action plans to work on the areas each individual needs to improve on.
• Manage roll-out goals to eventual reports, assigning goals that both meet the company objectives and areas of focus and the employee development.
• Write annual performance plans, describing employee expectations and performance and providing feedback and follow up as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication with demonstrated managerial and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Micron MFG execution and control systems.
• Demonstrated excellent innovative thinking, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiating and collaboration skills and has partnered successfully with different cross functional groups.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal forms.
• Successfully demonstrated skill in obtaining results through individual contribution and the coordination of multiple teams.
• Strong customer focus skills and is dedicated to meeting the needs of internal and external customers.

• Job Scope
  This role requires a minimum of 2 years of construction site project management, preferably related to Doors.
• Must be able to work very independently while still being able to efficiently function in a team.
• Role also requires supervising site workers and liasing closely with clients' project managers.
• Will be fully accountable for overseeing site projects from start to handover.
• Relevant 3 years experience in construction experience

Description

A long established sub-contractor in the BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION supply industry with leadership in the JOINERY sector currently has an opening for PROJECT MANAGER. (title will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate)

This is a management level role supervising an internal team managing clients' projects. Experience in the Building and Construction Trade, particularly in Architectural works will be essential. The candidate must have managed cross functional teams covering scopes which may include but not limited to project management, project site coordination, architectural drafting, operations and administrative coordination

As this is a key management role, it will be the expectation too that the candidate will assume a level of leadership in company's strategic directions, constantly driving organisational, process and operational efficiencies and managing key clients' business relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 – 8 years in the Building and Construction industry either in a main contractor or sub contractor role. Previous experience in Architectural, Joineries trade will be advantageous.
• Experienced in managing cross functional teams
• Skilled in external stakeholder management – especially managing business relationship and negotiations with main contractors
• Good knowledge of internal operations in a medium sized company with manufacturing and operational functions
• A Degree in related trade or equivalent years of industrial experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel / Words / Outlook) and AutoCad

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Highly organized and able to multitask and oversee several projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Min Degree in Civil Engineering (PM) or Min Diploma in Civil Engineering (APM)
• Experience in Construction Private Projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course.

• Assist Project Manager in all on-site technical/ engineering matters and authority submissions
• Prepare submission of shop drawing / Materials / MOS/ Monthly Progress Claims and PM Reports
• Lead in Site Coordination and execution relating to the construction project.
• Supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance with the company’s operating procedures, quality standards & contractual specifications.
• Ensuring supervisors & foremen meet clients’ regulatory work requirements
• Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out
• Prepare all documentation including method statements and other submissions
• Project management and attend project meeting.
• Provide training to customers.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting.
