Sometimes, there will be bugs. Not the flying, itchy kind, but the kind that causes apps to malfunction. When those bugs are related to content our users see, you will work with the team to get them sorted out.

Don't worry, you don't need to be a developer. This is not a technical role. It's about project management. What matters is that you are cool with learning to use new tools and interested in digital product development and UX design.

You will project manage the content update release process to make sure stuff goes out on time and as it was intended!

What matters is that you are interested in UX design and digital product development.
Experience working with developers and UX designers will come in handy.

Your team and career
This role sits within the Design Standards team, and is based in Singapore. The Design Standards team creates our design language system and defines and steers the way we design digital services at DBS. The team covers eight countries, Consumer and Corporate banking, and Middle Office Management group (internal tools).

Main Responsibilities:

1. Oversee financial statements, budgets, cashflow, and implement financial controls within the subsidiary.
2. Develop and implement a risk management framework, and identify and mitigate risks in Shipping Operations.
3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards meet with the Company policies
4. Monitor and analyze financial performance including Ship financial performance.
5. Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
6. Manage claims processes.
7. Lead and mentor a team of finance and risk professionals.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
2. Min 12 years’ experience in financial and risk management, preferably in shipping or energy industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

▪ Monitor schedules of the assigned group of vessels to optimize deliveries on board

▪ Proactively participate in department meetings and other activities



3. EXECUTION

▪ Processing ship’s requisitions via the defined in Company Procurement procedures

▪ Evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors

▪ Create and send purchase orders after approval

▪ Prepare items for shipment, arrange for transportation of product and coordinate shipments of

supplies to ships

▪ Update good receipt for each order

▪ Processing of invoices belonging to the orders she/he has created and/or are related to her/his

group of vessels

▪ Liaise between suppliers, relevant internal departments and vessels

▪ Other procurement tasks as delegated by the Procurement Manager

▪ Interacts with ships to identify and meet requirements / problem resolution and to accommodate

short lead-time orders

▪ Request and process vessel feedback on quality and timing of deliveries of goods and services

▪ Provide information to the Procurement Manager on various monthly / weekly reports as

relevant

▪ Coordinate with appointed freight forwarder and monitor stock list at regular intervals

▪ Ensure that Procurement policies and standard procedures are adhered to at all times
