Planning Executive, SEAO & Export Markets

As a Planning Executive, you will be responsible for production scheduling and local raw materials planning through analysing Demand and Supply. With strong analytical, numeric, planning, communication skills, you will work in a dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You are required to follow-up closely with various departments to ensure that the Master Production Schedule (MPS) is closely adhered to, and eventually lead to the fulfilment of the required delivery deadlines. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director, SEAO & Export Markets.

The Position:

• Schedule Production Plan and ensure Raw Materials/Intermediates availability.
• Ensure order confirmation timely upon firmed order receipt, New Wins, discontinuity or replacement enquiries in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Responsible for local raw materials supply planning
• Review capacity matrix, safety stocks settings, MOQ's and pack sizes on a periodic basis
• Responsible for Slow Moving Obsolesce Stocks (SLOBs) reduction and prepare monthly Write off list for management approval
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on the performance of production and highlight issues and bottlenecks that may potentially impact the achievement of the production schedule and delivery deadlines
• Pro-active with great problem-solving skills and able to work with internal team and as well as cross functional teams to ensure meeting KPIs and Service level
• Other scheduled/ad-hoc Reports/Dashboards and Projects such as artificial Intelligence / machine learning, Robotic Process Automation(RPA) related to Supply Planning

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree qualification in Supply Chain, Statistics or Business discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Production Planning or Supply Planning
• Strong knowledge and experience in SAP ERP system
• Excellent Microsoft office and Business Intelligence skills with strong analytical abilities
• Experience in taking ownership and committed to delivering results of noticeable high quality
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Independent and a good team player with the ability to multi-task

Overview

Reporting to Assistant Director (Precinct Planning & Development), you will support the Precinct Planning & Development Department (PPD; under RHSO Operations Division) in secretarial and administrative work, grant administration and data management.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide secretarial and administrative support to PPD

• Organise internal and external meetings and events, and their relevant logistics including booking dates and venues, ordering refreshments, supporting events onsite etc.
• Manage the timely submission of claims, purchase requisition, IT provision requests and HR requests etc.
• Manage office supplies requisition and maintain stationery and gift inventory Organise and maintain databases e.g. corporate gifting list, staff admin etcSupport and coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of new/existing staff
• Facilities management for PPD’s office e.g. managing seating plan and company assets etc.
• Maintain team schedule and calendars for key personnel
• Perform knowledge management and filing work

2. Processing claims

• Process claims submitted for various programmes/projects

3. Data management and analysis

• Collect and manage data for subsequent analysis

4. Any other duties, projects or assignments by Reporting Officer and/or HOD

Requirements

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

Diploma in any discipline, preferably science or business management related

Project Management

• Support the Associate Producers to coordinate and optimize the work of the production teams, including prioritizing tasks, identifying risks and proposing solutions to keep to the project schedule and budget;
• Synchronize dependencies, work done and risks across the production teams frequently, including with other Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Technical Leads;
• Assist in the development of schedules that translate project goals into action and work to ensure the success of the project;
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitate sprint planning, conduct daily standup meetings, hold sprint retrospective meetings, hold sprint reviews, and organize Scrum teams;
• Assist the Associate Producers and Project Managers on staff planning and seating plan changes;
• Take meeting notes and communicate them to all relevant parties;
• Propose, implement and facilitate process improvements;
• Conduct expense reporting for the production team;
