The Centre Management System Support, Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for overseeing the upkeep, procurement & maintenance of all exhibits, audio-visual equipment, facilities and essential services for daily operations for centres/museums under Defence Collective Singapore (DCS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintenance Planning: Planning and implementation of building maintenance programs for architectural, electrical, and mechanical, exhibits and attractions AV lighting systems. Co-ordinate and liaise with internal and external vendors for the execution of maintenance services. Conduct joint inspection rounds with Specialists/Technical Officers on building/Exhibit/AV & lighting defects.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety equipment, work methods, and procedures. Promptly rectify any unsafe situations, adhering to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations. Be responsible for implementing Company’s SOP and policies including compliance to QEHS policies. Conducting regular checks on the entire building to ensure the prompt removal of fire hazards, proper functioning of fire escapes, fire doors, and obstruction-free access.
• Supervise Works: Control and supervise all AV Lighting and exhibition related works performed by Specialists/Technical Officers and contractors, including those carried out by tenant's fitting out contractors. Supervise and inspect the works of contractors and the works of the service providers (cleaning, housekeeping, landscaping, pest control, car park and security). To ensure contractors’ compliance to safety, regulations and level of standards set by DCS.
• Repairs and Emergency Situations: Responding to emergency situations & troubleshoot sound and video and ensuring prompt repairs of property facilities. Providing updates to Centre Management team with regards to the situation.
• Procurement: Manage budgetary control of expenditures including preparation of annual budgets and forecast. Conduct tender exercises for OPEX/CAPEX works such as replacement, upgrading or redevelopment works and manage such works according to timeline including putting up of documents and procurement for OPEX/CAPEX requests.
• Daily Operations: Responsible for the coordination of meetings and events such as logistics support, obtaining quotations, raising of invoices etc. Conduct regular inspection of the centre to ensure high standard of cleanliness and service are provided by term contractors related to cleaning, landscape, pest control etc.
• Reports: Monitor and report on the work progress of minor improvement projects or A&A work. Tabulate inspection report and plans for defects rectification.
• Project Management: Procurement of services as well as management of services and projects from inception, execution and to completion. Project lead to manage all aspects of project.
• Event Management: To provide audio, visual and media services for events and activities (e.g. Family Day, celebrations, etc). To help staff (hands-on) on setup of technology in the venues.
• Others: provide training to staff and students on the use of AV and lighting equipment, carry out any ad-hoc duties, handyman work, projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum diploma in the audiovisual technology, sound engineering, lighting design technology or any related field, such as digital media or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication in English.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure and to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.
• Possess strong working knowledge with maintenance work, local codes and regulations. Familiar with statutory requirements on building services, facility operations, maintenance, and safety.

Team Summary

The Finance Business Partner team is an agile, highly visible team that works using a consultative model with business to apply data to business and finance decisions as well as measure performance.
You will serve as a strategic finance partner to the leaders of Visa’s Advisory Services business and will collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies and analytics to enable business decision making, and lead the long-term planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analytics for the business. We are looking for a Finance leader, who is a problem solver with great communication skills. You will provide financial insights that enables the business partners to plan, prioritize investments, execute and manage performance.

You are both a player and coach, providing financial thought partnership and analytical support to partners. This is a high visibility role where you will keep senior management informed on performance and support decision making, business reviews, strategy/execution projects, and ad hoc analysis.

What a Director, Finance Business Partner – Value Added Services, Advisory does at Visa:

• Partner closely with cross-regional and cross-functional Finance leads to understand revenue drivers and elevate the level of analysis around revenue and related costs
• Establish and maintain excellent working partnerships with the VAS Advisory delivery function leadership teams, both regionally and globally
• Develop and present strategic insights about the Advisory Services business
• Lead key financial activities for the Advisory Services business, including multi-year strategic planning, annual financial planning, quarterly outlook and business reviews, month-end analytics and management reporting, and on-going financial risks and opportunities assessment
• Provide meaningful driver-based analytics and insights to senior leadership and executive management audience on the Advisory Services’ business’ financial performance and forward-looking outlook
• Understand business levers and recommend measures to further improve financial results and business margins, while assessing financial risks and opportunities, and evaluating options to optimize return on investments

Why this is important to Visa

The VAS Function is a relatively new organization in Visa but has been identified as one of the most critical new functions, specifically to diversify and grow Visa’s revenue both in the medium and long term. The FBP will be part of one of the fastest growing functions in Visa over the next few years.

Job Responsibilties

• Coordinating all O&M and plant outage activities to achieve safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Power Station
• Supporting and liaising with relevant Asset/Operation departments for long term power station turnaround planning
• Assist to implement modern O&M practices, tools and techniques for safe, reliable and efficient Power Station operation
• To fully develop and utilize the CMMS for efficient and effective O&M Planning practice and co-ordination with service provider for license management, backup, individual account management and software upgrade
• Fully utilizing the CMMS to ensure all O&M activities and experiences are recorded to comply with Station, legislative and company policy requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma graduate in relevant engineering field
• Knowledge on operation and maintenance activities of Combined Cycle Power Plant
• Knowledge on project management and resource planning
• Knowledge in maintaining maintenance record in CMMS
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Power Plant Maintenance ideally on a CCPP (any manufacturing industry)
• Experience involvement in technical aspects of Power Plant operation and maintenance
• The post holder shall be medically fit and able to undertake the duties of the post and any additional duties as detailed in the Power Station Emergency Response Plan
• Plant availability, plant reliability, work order performance and outage duration

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Director (PD) in project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Lead and mentor the project team by setting guidelines, providing advice, and supervising as needed.
• Oversee all project management activities from planning and coordination to completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Research Assistant/Project Officer position is available immediately. The successful applicant will join an expanding team to work on projects in the field of Psychosocial support for familial caregivers. The applicant will be working in the research lab “Action Research for Community Health (ARCH)”, and the primary study involves an intervention study that develops and test the efficacy of a novel culinary programme to support familial caregivers of individuals with cancer. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with professionals in the field of medicine, cancer care, nutrition, as well as with clinical population groups.

Research Assistant/Project Officer is expected to plan, organize and implement research projects, in collaboration with principal investigators. The specific roles include project coordination, liaison with community collaborators, literature review, supporting data collection and research implementation, data transcription and data analysis, compile findings and drafting of research reports, as well as co-author academic journal publications with project principal investigators.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination and Implementation

• Coordinate programme logistics, including scheduling coaching sessions, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, acting as key liaison with institutional and external collaborators
