KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

· Responsible for management of various PLC programs and SCADAs, EMS, BMS, Various Software, Hardware, VFDs at site, Program backup and recovery as & when required. Change management etc.

· Planning & execution of all new and retrofit manufacturing equipment, packaging line related projects for the site.

· Ensuring the best available technologies are incorporated by design.

· Techno commercial evaluations of consultants, vendors, and contractors.

· Delivering the project within the budget and timeline approved.

· Coordinating with statutory authorities for relevant approvals.

· Complying with operational and personnel standards, regulatory and statutory requirements to ensure efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.

· Ensure smooth handing over of the project to end-users, coordinate and ensure deliverables as per plan.

· Ensure the site manufacturing equipment are kept to the highest standards for cGMP requirements, including Sterlie filling, Granulation, Compression, Packaging etc.

· Responsible for development SOPs and quality standard for site with following of site QMS procedures.

· Ensure to meet the required regulatory requirements (e.g. HSA, FDA etc.) and keep site audit ready for all the time.

· Responsible for managing a team of vendors / contractors.

· To assist on any ah-hoc duties that have been assigned / task by the immediate supervisor.

Education:

· Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical/ Instrumentation / Automation / Mechatronics engineering or a related field.

· Project management certification: PMP or PRINCE2

Experience:

· Proficient / experienced in the Microsoft project software and project tracking.

· Proficient / experienced in PLC program (ladders, function block, OPC code…etc)

· 3~5 years of experience in the green field / brown field area project management.

· Capability handles the pharma project from USD 2-5 million.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Good investigation and report writing skills.

· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.(GMP, PICs)

JOB PURPOSE

The Project & Engineering Coordinator has to oversee and manage, planning and execution of assigned engineering projects and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation of projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Foster a safety culture in all P&E project execution and ensure 100% compliance safety requirement, including contractors and visitors.

· Assist for creating detailed project plan, timeline and schedule to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

· Assist Project Engineer to develop new project scope of work.

· Work with compounding and Polymer plant engineers to generate new projects

· Coordinate project execution - Coordinate internal resources, 3rd party vendors/ contractors during projects installation to ensure flawless execution of the project.

· All the engineering activities to execute in compliance with company guidelines i.e. mechanical integrity, SABIC Engineering Standards & EHSS requirements.

· Create the instructions necessary for systems to function. This includes manufacturing maintenance procedures, trainings and system handover to operation.

· Quality Control - Project Coordinate ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications

· Verify and audit the project quality documents with vendor to align engineering standard.

· Documentation - Maintain Engineering deliverables (drawings and documents),Producing CAD drawings according to specifications and changes.

· Reporting- Provide regular progress report to the stakeholders.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum NITEC/ Technical certificate/ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Preferably with min. 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in chemical industry.

· Knowledge about project management.

· Good knowledge about auto CAD and practical experience using CAD software may be required.

· Good knowledge about Design and analytical skills.

We are hiring a Project Officer to support the research related work for engineering research project titled: Harnessing Randomness and Chaos in Complex Disordered Photonic Systems - WP3 Miniaturized disorder-scattering based spectrometer in the mid-infrared and Terahertz.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Officer will work on engineering based research projects. The roles of this position include:

• System integration for the spectrometer and imaging systems
• Build up optical characterization setup and perform device characterization
• Perform the measurement of optoelectronic device
• Prepare research project reports.
• Prepare research materials/equipment purchase requisition.
• Collect and analyze research data.
• Other ad hoc duties pertaining to the research project.

Job Requirements:
