• Generate 2D and 3D piping design deliverables such as model specifications, catalog items, piping layouts and studies, support drawings and pipe stress isometrics.

• Perform 3D model clash checks, prepare reports for inter-discipline resolution and participating in clash resolution meetings.

• Review vendor documents and provide comments for piping and equipment interfaces.

• Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per project specifications, MDR and project Level 2 & 3 procedures, and within agreed schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in piping 3D and P&ID drawings in Oil & Gas industry supporting offshore projects, preferably FPSOs.

• Proficient in design programs E3D, AutoCAD, MS Offices, NavisWorks

• Able to understand the functional requirements from Piping Engineers and draft layout drawings with correct representations as per Industry & Company Standard.

• Able to manage markups, comments & coordination with relevant engineers

Participate in Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities including but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Studies, Operability, Front Loading Commissioning in design, SCE’s and Performance standards in Commissioning Procedures.

To independently review & develop various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents and highlight the shortfalls through vigorous review process and address these shortfalls with the team.

Develop Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Procedures for Instrumentation and Control Systems. • To support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirement

Prepare & Review of company development work methodology / procedures.

Capable of managing demanding expectations of clients which may range from addressing gaps to unexpected work scope variations while ensuring conformance to the project, regulatory and contract requirements.

Attend FAT and SAT depending on project requirements.

Independently deals with regulatory authority, class, vendors and clients with regards to comments or queries on commissioning deliverables and develops technical/engineering solutions to the issues raised.

Participates in meetings with the project team to review progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues where necessary based on the standard procedures, practices and lessons learnt from past projects to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly.

Perform duties as per directives of reporting authority.

Leads site execution team on performing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities planned for the Instrumentation & Control systems, managing the interfaces with Construction and Pre-Operations teams,

• Able to plan/coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies.
• Able to liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
• Able to work independently and as a key member of the Site Management.
• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at the site and recommend solutions to relevant teams/departments.
• Review Architectural drawings for conflicts with Structural/M&E and liaise with consultants to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work is carried out within the schedule and maintain the required quality.
• Ensure a safe work environment at the work site and manage workers.
• Assist the Construction/Project Manager in overseeing the daily construction and site coordination of different activities.
• Responsible for preparing, submitting and monitoring technical drawings, method of statements, and shop drawings.
• To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule & preparation of daily records & monthly site progress reports.
