We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Investment Operations Analyst. The ideal candidate will execute strategies, monitor portfolios, and provide critical support across multiple financial markets and instruments. Job duties
1. Execute strategies across diverse financial instruments, including equities, bonds, funds, FX, and derivatives, by leveraging execution platforms and negotiation with counterparties.
2. Proactively monitor trading tools and alerts to identify and execute new trade opportunities.
3. Provide insights to trading management on market liquidity, trade structures, sizing, and counterparty relationships.
4. Oversee and manage portfolio positions, limits, and margin requirements, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines.
5. Assist in portfolio rebalancing, cash management, P&L analysis, and price monitoring.
6. Respond to Portfolio Manager and client requests for investment-related and portfolio performance reports.
7. Maintain and update investment guidelines for assigned portfolios to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
8. Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentation materials for client reporting and marketing initiatives.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy system enhancements and technology solutions.
10. Document operational processes and monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2. 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably within banks or multi/single-family offices. Candidates with an accounting background or those pursuing CFA certification will also be considered.
3. Strong knowledge and interest in equities, bonds, and investment products are advantageous.
4. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and formulas is a plus.
5. Candidates holding an existing MAS license are preferred.
6. Completion of CACS Paper 1 & 2 is required.
7. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
