- Engages with stakeholders to gather, understand, and document their business needs.
- Translates business and customer needs into detailed user stories and defines clear acceptance criteria including functional and non-functional needs
- Maintains clear and comprehensive documentation that is easily understood by both business and technical teams.
- Ensures that user stories are understood by the development team and are actionable.
Requirements Analysis
- Analyzes and prioritizes requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives and are feasible within technical constraints.
- Identifies conflicts, dependencies, and impacts on existing systems or processes.
Requirements Validation and Verification
- Ensures that requirements are complete, consistent, and verifiable.
- Works with stakeholders to validate that the documented requirements meet the business’s needs.
Collaboration with Development Teams
- Works closely with the development team to ensure technical challenges are addressed and decisions are made with long-term scalability in mind.
- Engages in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to guide the team toward successful product delivery.
- Provides timely feedback on product increments and acts as the decision-maker for backlog priorities.
Stakeholder Management
- Balances stakeholder interests and manages expectations regarding timelines, features, and technical limitations.
- Communicates technical progress, challenges, and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders in a way they can understand.
Technical Debt and Quality
- Prioritizes technical debt alongside feature development to ensure long-term system health and performance.
- Ensures that the product is built to meet not only functional requirements but also high standards of technical quality.
