Team Introduction:
Finance BP - TikTok and TNS is a sub-department of Finance. You will be empowered to be the key contributor to ByteDance's continuing success. This role is based out of our Singapore office supporting APAC region with a focus on South East Asia primarily. The finance business partner team aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations and act as a strategic partner to the content partnership, operations, and marketing functions teams globally.
- Work closely with the business team and strategy team, provide optimized financial solutions or advice to support business decisions.
- Prepare managerial financial reports and rolling forecasts, track business financial performance and perform related financial analysis to ensure that the planning process provides an efficient and effective tool for the leadership team.
- Provide financial models, analysis and support for commercial strategies.
- Manage the development and execution of the financial plan for the company.
- Complete the cost / benefit analysis and communicate key drivers / inputs to support business decisions.
- Conduct budget control, involve in business operations and review project applications.
- Build and optimize financial processes, related systems and financial modeling to improve efficiency and control business risk.
- Perform special ad hoc projects and analysis on a frequent basis.
- Approximately 30% of travel is required for this role across South East Asia; mainly travelling to Indonesia / Thailand / Vietnam to work with stakeholders based in these countries.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering or related strategic finance experience.
- Experience from fortune 500 global companies with past experience collaborating across global timezones as the role requires collaboration with global business / finance teams across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
- Management consulting background is necessary as the role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic partnership, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- CPA or CFA or CMA qualification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Media, high growth tech start-up experience and advertising experience preferred.
- Exceptional Excellent data analytics skills including proficiency with SQL preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good team spirit, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- MBA qualification preferred.
