Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic working relationships with LSPs to secure the optimal freight arrangements based on each region’s needs
• Participate in strategic negotiation with LSPs to secure freight contracts with favourable rates and terms
• Monitor all freight costs, identify opportunities and proactively develop action plan for cost savings
• Analyze quarterly LSP performance based on metrics to make decisions/ recommendations regarding pricing, selection and drives for improvements
• Audit all LSP elements, perform deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes, and make decisions based on data

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or the equivalent
• At least 3-4 years’ in Freight Operations and Freight Procurement/Sourcing
• Proven problem-solver and effective negotiator with regional exposure and extensive network of relationship within the freight forwarding industry
• Intermediate proficiency introducing and utilizing various business tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite, Tableau)

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain the IT Technology Governance and Control framework, Policies and Processes (inclusive of process implementation and tools development).
