The Project Engineer is to support the Project Managers (PM) in the performance of their duties and coordination, site execution of rainwater system installations, testing and commissioning, to the successful handing over of project to clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- To assist the PM on multiple projects to programme and allocate manpower as required.

- Discuss inspection reports with the PM and ensure clear and accurate implementation of necessary actions and recommendations.

- Maintain records of inspections, actions and non-conformances.

- Assist in submission of shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification

- Assist PM in the planning of required, materials, plant, transport and equipment.

- Plan activities of allocated Site Supervisors and workforce under their control, in line with project requirements.

- Monitor Health and Safety on projects to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations

- Ensure that projects are carried out within the labour and material budget parameters provided as advised by PM

- Check site progress and productivity, record and submit monthly progress claims for certification and payment.

JOB SCOPE

Overall supervision of assigned projects, to ensure timely completion of projects, within the approved budgets set by the Project Manager and the management.

8. Issue Tracking and Resolution

• Maintain a log of issues, delays, or challenges affecting project progress.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve administrative and logistical issues.
• Escalate critical issues to management as required.

9. Reporting

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to stakeholders.
• Consolidate data from various sources to create comprehensive project updates.
• Maintain records of project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

10. General Administrative Duties

• Perform routine office tasks, such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
• Ensure office supplies and equipment for the project team are available.
• Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.

11. Closeout and Handover Support

• Assist in preparing closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, warranties, and operation manuals.
• Coordinate the handover process with the client and ensure all deliverables are completed.
• Archive project records and ensure proper documentation for audits or future reference.

Job Responsibilities

• Under general supervision: Plan, organize, coordinate and controls projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Client
• Responsible for day to day contact and communication with the Client, focusing on providing client satisfaction
• Possess knowledge of Oil & Gas design and engineering in the offshore industry
• Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders
• May also serve as the proposal manager of medium-sized projects
• Job role includes some budgetary accountabilities
• Manage internal and external project interfaces
• Responsible for delivery of project deliverables in accordance with the project schedule, including early identification and resolution of problems that may impact progress
• Support the Management of Change process on the project, including the development of discreet schedules and budgets
• Support the identification and management of risk on the project, including development of mitigation measures to remove and/or control residual risk

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience
• Experience with an Oil & Gas engineering company handling Onshore and Offshore projects
• Experience in coordinating and serving as the focal point for Mechanical Equipment procurement including but not limited to bid clarification meetings, procurement status reviews, kick-off meetings and liaison with mechanical package engineers and Client engineers
• Knowledge of multi discipline execution of Offshore projects
• Knowledge of 3D CAD and other Engineering and Design Tools, including Intelligent PIDs, SPI, SPE and Navisworks
• Knowledge of Digital delivery of projects is preferred

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

Overall, in charge of horticultural maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf and landscape sites under the

purview of the clients such as Town Council. Liaise with Clients, Consultants, relevant authorities

and Residents as well as to manage and co-ordinate the landscape projects effectively.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• To liaise, coordinate and updates, if any when liaising with Clients, Consultants and
• relevant authorities for the implementation of the landscape projects.
• To be lead contact point for all matters specific to the Clients for the landscape projects that
• you are in-charge of.
• To attend to feedbacks and complaints as well as to liaise with Client to resolve any Clients
• and / or resident complaints related to horticultural matter.
• To attend monthly site meeting or when required.
• To build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationship and meet Client's satisfaction.
• To ensure planning for all landscape activities are adequate for Client, product and system
• conformance.
• To coordinate, work and oversee all landscapers and vendors as well as provide guidance, if
• applicable.
• To plan, implement and track the work progress periodically, address and follow-up to
• ensure that the landscape projects stay on time and within budget.
• To monitor landscape project cost including variation works, if any.

(B) General :

• To prepare and submit necessary report(s) as required by Clients.
• To maintain and document all the landscape projects.
• To coordinate and work with other departments.
• To engage, coordinate and oversee the landscape project work to ensure successful
• completion as well as hand over of landscape projects to the Clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety :

• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Degree or Diploma in Landscaping / Civil Engineering or related field.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Strong in Persuasion, Service-oriented, Client relationship and People Management.
• Negotiation skills.
• Good working attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• PC literate and knowledge in MS Office.

(C) Experience :

• Preferably with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
