ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team as Business Analyst with a passion for travel. We are looking for an individual who excels in effective communication, stakeholder management, and possesses a keen understanding of requirements and solutions. This role involves creating a new solution based on the requirements from client, support, guide, setting up new system, requiring strategic thinking and innovative approaches. This is a full-time role based in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Requirement Analysis

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders (operations, logistics, finance, etc.).
• Analyze current shipping processes, workflows, and systems.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.

2. Process Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies in shipping operations, such as order processing, inventory management, or customs handling.
• Propose process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

3. ERP System Implementation and Support

• Work with ERP vendors and internal IT teams to implement shipping modules.
• Customize ERP solutions to fit business needs (e.g., integrating shipping carriers or automating freight calculations).
• Test new system functionalities and validate results against business expectations.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze shipping data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and operational bottlenecks.
• Design and maintain reports or dashboards for shipment tracking, delivery performance, and freight costs.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business teams (e.g., operations, procurement, sales) and technical teams.
• Conduct workshops or meetings to gather input and provide project updates.
• Build strong relationships with external partners, including shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.

6. Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure shipping processes comply with international trade regulations, customs documentation, and tariff rules.
• Assess risks in shipping operations and recommend mitigation strategies.

7. Training and Documentation

• Create user manuals, training materials, and workflow diagrams for ERP solutions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduation or master’s in business administration/analytics or similar field
• Familiar with design software – Adobe, Figma e.g.,
• Strong interest in development of new approaches in development and solutions and discovering business opportunities
• Stonge knowledge in shipping safety department
• Expected minimum experience is 7 to 8 yrs
