• The position is responsible to provide transitionary / project support to the Singapore Corporate Accounting Team.

Responsibilities

1. General Ledger / Statutory Compliance

• Ensure accounting records are kept in accordance with corporate policies.
• Prepare monthly management reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounts information.
• Responsible for annual statutory audit for 3 entities in Singapore and and assist in responding to audit queries, preparation of audit schedules, confirmations, financial statements and notes to accounts, and XBRL filing.
• Ensure Annual Income Tax for 2 entities in Singapore are completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet filing timeline and any tax positions taken and deviation from tax provision and past year’s tax returns are discussed and followed up with relevant management.
• Ensure all other tax reporting for 2 entities in Singapore are filed on time and consistent with tax provision and past year’s tax returns.
• Ensure all Indirect Tax reporting for 2 entities in Singapore – VAT, GST, withholding tax filing are filed accurately and timely.

2. Receipts / Payments

• Process hotel / interco receipts / Manage Payments for a few entities in Singapore.

3. Other Responsibilities

• Carry out any other accounting related duties as assigned by Senior Manager and Corporate Director.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Coordinate Business Units (BU) resources, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within schedule. Regularly review projects progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage and lead the project team to realize the project QDC objectives (estimate, plan and track the project development activities).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including BU, staff customers and partners.
• Take ownership and keep track of customers’ request and project issues, and work closely with team for resolution on quality, delivery, and cost.
• Make recommendations to prevent problems and manage potential risks when necessary.
• Need to be flexible to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules and requirements, and unpredictable events.
• Frequent travel for new project kick-off, project progress discussion and alignment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as Program Manager with project management skills in industrial or automotive industry.
• Ability to manage the different phases of the project life cycle, budgets, contracts, schedule, risk, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Possess Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is an added advantage.
• Experience in cost and effort estimation for project quotations.
• Willingness to travel frequently in Asia region, such as India.

Minimum requirement:

1. Tertiary degree in Engineering or equivalent

2. Min 3 years of working experience

3. Ability to read & interpret specification

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office

Overall supervision of assigned projects, to ensure timely completion of projects, within the approved budgets set by the Project Manager and the management.

Plan and prepare all project micro and/or master program with indication of Critical Path to complete assigned projects in a timely manner.

To liaise with all subcontractors, consultants and owners on project matters and to resolve all technical discrepancies and site issues.

To supervise and ensure that acceptable workmanship and quality of projects are obtained to the management and consultants’ approval.

To attend, prepare and report on project progress, milestones and targets during meetings.

To organise and to chair regular site meetings with subcontractors, NSCs and suppliers.

Any other adhoc projects and duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in daily execution of works
• Coordinate jobs between main contractors, sub-contractors and workers
• Manage and supervise day-to-day work of site projects and ensure all job activities are carried out and completed in a timely manner
• Work closely with site operations staff to meet project schedule deadlines
• Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings and within an acceptable standard of workmanship
• Monitor the progress and quality of work performed by workers
• Attend site survey/visits with contractors
• Attend daily tool-box meetings and convey clear instruction accordingly
• Understand and ensure compliance in project requirement and scope of work
• Adhere to all safety precautionary measures and ensure that environmental control measures are implemented while carrying out works
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum ITE/Diploma holder in Civil Engineering/Building or equivalent
• Singaporeans/PRs preferred
• No prior experience required
• Proficient in reading and understanding CAD (2D & 3D) and Revit BIM drawings
• Able to work under pressure and independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willing to learn and take on new challenges
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to work 6 days per week
• Required to work in construction sites & factory
• Candidates with Class 3 driving license preferred

Ensure site works are carried out according to the approved technical drawings, contractual requirements, quality procedures, ISO and EHS requirements.

Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
