We are looking for a Project Engineer to prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the projects that are being assigned to him/ her. Reporting to the Project Manager in the Project Team, he/ she will

• Work together with the clients, either at our office or client’s locations, to understand their needs and translate them into an actionable plan with the team.
• Work closely and communicate effectively with project manager, and other project team members to create and deliver quality solutions for the clients.
• Perform quality control work, taking into considerations of the budget, schedule, and plans.
• Keep track of project status and provide regular reports.
• Assure all the deadlines are being met.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with time, cost, quality and safety
• Monitor the full construction process including handling over
• Collaborate closely with architect, client, consultant, project manager and contractor to review technical drawings, address discrepancies and facilitate timely resolutions
• Co-ordinate Architectural/Structural/M&E drawings and liaise with contractors for compliance with contract and authorities’ requirements
• Participate in meetings with client, consultants and contractor to monitor work progress, address technical/construction matters

Requirements

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or a related field
• Possess strong skillset in software for project management and 2D/3D drawings
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction management and supervision of architectural works
• Strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings and project management
• Possess relevant knowledge in authorities’ requirements
• Able to engage with clients, consultants and contractors
• Good communication skills

About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
• Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
• Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
• Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
• Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Requirements and skills

· Diploma or above in Civil / Construction Engineering and any others equivalent certification.

· min 5yrs of pharmaceutical related project exp.

· Well-versed in constractual terms, conditions and obligations.

· Strong construction background to discuss and advise technical matters with Main and Sub Contractors.

· Excellent Communication skills and highly organized, driven adn conscientious.

- Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to communicate and engage with Mandarin speaking customers.
