TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses, agencies and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered! From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have tailored tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.

The APAC Project and Operation team aims to establish and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that key strategic projects for APAC SMB are executed efficiently. The team works in close collaboration with Sales Leaders, Monetization Strategy, Product and Marketing teams together to tackle underlying issues of the business. You will be responsible for defining project goals and scopes, driving clear and efficient communication across diverse functions and regions, continuously optimizing our business solutions for global clients.

Responsibilities:

Business strategies

• Lead the overall APAC SMB business operation strategies, tactics and processes in order to support APAC SMB leaders across SEA, AUNZ, Japan and Korea through prioritization and course of action.
• Partner cross functionally and lead independently the design, execution and implementation of key strategic projects for APAC SMB team, including project plans, roadmaps, resources and timelines aligned with organizational goals and priorities across multiple markets or business segments.

Business management

• Develop and implement project performance metrics, reporting mechanisms, and dashboards to provide visibility and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery within defined constraints.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency, transparency, and adherence to standards across the organization
• Provide thought leader to mid (6 month) and long (1-2 year) perspective for APAC SMB's planning

Strategic networking

• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; facilitate effective decision-making by presenting project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.

Team Development

• Manage, develop and export talents within the organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project/program management, strategy, operations or related field.
• Proven experience in designing and executing complex, multi-faceted projects spanning across different regions or countries, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of project portfolio management, resource allocation, risk management, and project prioritization in alignment with organizational strategies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across different cultures and regions.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Global travel is required.

Preferred Qualification

• Proven expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit that can develop and lead a new initiative from the ground up; thrive in ambiguity. Digital ad sales experience is a great asset

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned projects to ensure quality and on-time execution to the project’s specifications and client’s expectations.

• Coordinate the production workflow between the Sales, Design, Procurement and Production departments including any external sub-contractors and suppliers.

• Manage sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery within project costs.

• Utilise company’s project management software to coordinate and communicate with project team members during the production process.

• Initiate Production Schedule and manage deadlines for the delivery of projects on time.

• Conduct project meetings as and when required, eg. for issues resolution and updates.

• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed and manage any impact on schedule and budget.

• Managing client’s expectations during the project transition period.

• Prepare an Onsite Schedule for the coordination of load-in, setup and dismantling works and share it with relevant parties.

• Oversee onsite setup work to check on quality delivery, safe work procedures and on-time completion, when required

• Apply Permit To Work with supporting WSH documentation (Risk Assessment, Methods Statement, Safe Work Procedures) and any project-related admin work when required.

• Source for sub-contractors, suppliers and production material, when required.

• Conduct a post-project evaluation to identify key learning points for work improvement.

Requirements:

• Ability to lead project teams and see the assigned projects through to completion.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines.

• Competency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Good communication skills with people of all levels.

• Understanding of project management methodologies is preferred but not required.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

• For the Project Executive position, a minimum of 1-2 years relevant project management experience from event management, interior design or other related fields.

• Candidates with more years of experience will be considered for the senior positions.

• Set up cutlery, crockery and glassware on table and replace soiled tableware and service items to prepare the table for the next customers
• Serve food and beverages to ensure all dishes match the order ticket to the corresponding tables
• Operate Point of Sales (POS) Systems when managing beverage order
• Provide go-the-extra-mile service to create a positive customer experience
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and standards, follow the organization’s personal, food and beverage hygiene standards
• Assist in opening, operating, and closing of shifts and execute daily operational tasks according to staff roster
• Suggest areas and execute continuous improvement activities within work area
