Responsibilities:

• Leading project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery

• Prepare master construction program and catch-up program, if applicable
• Requires regular site inspections, risk management, and progress reporting
• Ability to manage Subcontractors and plan in progress for all works on site

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majored in Civil Engineering recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry
• Experience in Road Works / Building Works Project will be preferred
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in managing the safety and timely delivery to projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure

Assist Project Manager in project planning and coordination on site.

Manage day to day site operations

Attend clients, consultants, sub-contractors and site meetings

Manage, monitor, delegate and motivate the construction project team.

Deploy required resources such as manpower, machinery & equipment in accordance to the project requirements.

Promote strong safety culture and ensure site safety and vironmental control measures are in place at all times.

· Service clients’ accounts and achieve sales targets

· Manage client’s expectations on project expectations

· Develop project execution strategy

· Obtain quotes from suppliers for materials/fittings for calculation of cost

· Prepare quotation and submission of tender/quotation

· Prepare project budgets and manage cost control based on clients’ budget

· Oversee kick-off meeting with clients

· Submit schedules, concept designs and sample materials for clients to review

· Update organiser/client on the commencement of work

· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure work is completed according to planned schedule

· Oversee handover of project and coordinate with clients regarding defects rectification

· Arrange for invoice billing to clients

· Ensure good client relationship and as primary point of contact for Clients' Project Management team

· Manage specialist design support services and take part in conversion process

3.Ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, regulations and contract specifications.

Programme Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare Overall Schedule based on programme information.
• Plan and schedule timetables with scheduling system (Syllabus Plus) and release timetables within the given timeframe.
• Work with Heads of Schools to schedule assignments to academics (Full Time / Associates) and to ensure full-time academics are prioritized and optimally assigned to teaching assignments.
• Liaise with vendors for outsourced tasks, such as lecturer placement, issuance of contract, payroll processing, assessment marking fee, etc and support in providing necessary data and information where required.
• Managing and updating the pool of Associated Lecturers.
• Daily checking of assigned classes to ensure class starts as per scheduled.
• Liaise with University partners on scheduling related matters: students’ pathway, teaching load etc for assigned programmes.
• Provide accurate information and schedule promptly and updates to relevant stakeholders as and when necessary.

Resource Planning & Data Management

• Plan and manage resources (e.g. room, lecturers) using Syllabus Plus to ensure smooth delivery of programmes.
• Input, maintain and update information and data to student management system and / or other applicable applications.
• Ensure all assigned teaching staff and modules are registered with CPE.
• Liaise with the Programme Management team for customized student’s pathway, tutorial groupings, assessments, etc for the assigned programmes.

Exams

• Work with Exam Team to plan examination schedules for assigned programmes.
• Liaise with Exam Centre for main and re-exams.

Others

• Support in providing data during budgeting exercise.
• Support in conducting orientation to newly appointed associate lecturer.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.

Requirements
