The incumbent is to ensure that strategic material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity. Takes a coordinating, lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. This role holds people and budgetary management responsibilities and team management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions
• Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place

Job Requirements:

In this role, you will be part of the Development Secretariat team to support the Hospital Planning Committee (HPC) in the planning, coordination, development and management of Eastern General Hospital and Eastern Community Hospital (EGH Campus). You will support the Deputy Director (Hospital and Services Planning) to ensure that the execution, budget and quality of the development are in accordance with the established program, which includes end-user briefs, operations requirements, systems design with technology partners, guidelines and project timelines. Job requirements

- Conduct daily and regular inspections of operational processes, ensuring adherence to plant 5S, TPM activities, safety standards, and proper equipment maintenance.

- Lead daily safety toolbox meetings and conduct regular inspections of PPE to ensure staff are equipped for workplace safety.

- Review and improve existing procedures and workflows in plant operations, focusing on cost efficiency and maximizing throughput.
