Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Retail and Core Banking Solutions. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in IT delivery and transformation projects, with expertise in banking products & financial systems.

In this role, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating the seamless delivery of critical banking solutions while ensuring system functionality and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and end users to capture, refine, and prioritize system requirements for retail and core banking systems.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure the delivery of scalable solutions in line with core banking system architectures. Analyze business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Engage with senior business leaders across geographies, presenting complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner. Build trust-based relationships to better serve their organizational needs.
• Leverage deep understanding of Retail Banking (Term Deposits & Loans) and Core Banking Systems to drive product enhancements and system functionality improvements.
• Participate in Agile project management processes, ensuring system design and delivery align with SDLC.
• Lead initiatives to improve technical processes and solutions, ensuring that best practices are consistently applied.

Technical Expertise

• Retail and Core Banking Systems: Extensive experience with Retail Loan Management, Term Deposits, & other core banking modules.
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Java and Shell Scripting for developing and customizing banking solutions.
• Proficient in tools like Confluence, JIRA, and well-versed in Agile Methodologies for project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience with a focus on banking, finance systems, and data analytics.
• Expertise in retail and core banking solutions, covering modules like Term Deposits, Retail Loans & Wealth Management Systems.
• Proven track record in banking transformation projects and delivering IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

Job Description:

This is a full time role for an M&E Project Engineer Cum Drafter located in Yishun/ King George’s Ave. Our client is one of the power plant equipment suppliers in Singapore and you will be taking the responsibility of managing and overseeing all mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on construction sites to ensure they are completed according to specifications, within budget, and on time. This includes preparing and reviewing M&E designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and project requirements. The role requires coordinating with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues related to M&E installations and conducting site inspections to monitor work progress and quality, addressing any issues that arise. Additionally, the role involves preparing and submitting regular project status reports, handling shop drawings, BIM coordination, as-built and construction drawings, and managing all project documentation, including technical drawings and specifications. The individual will collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment and assist in the commissioning and handover of completed M&E systems to clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Degree in relevant industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar industries in Singapore.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, good ability in develop Revit will be a good plus point.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues on site.
