Role Summary

This is an Investment Analyst role reporting to the Head of Equities Research. The individual will be part of the Equities team under the Investment group. The analyst for this position will be based in Singapore.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce investment research reports with actionable investment ideas for the firm’s equity portfolios as part of the firm’s Equities Research team.
• Generate alpha and investment ideas for relative and absolute return portfolios for the sectors, industries and countries assigned. Country coverage will primarily be the Indian market across all sectors. Other secondary coverage includes ASEAN. Over time, coverage and responsibilities of the individual can change, based on team needs and the individual’s experience and aspirations.
• Contribute to other research team initiatives that periodically arise.

Experience and Skills

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in an analyst role
• Investment experience and specialisation in the sectors mentioned above
• Solid fundamental bottom-up research analysis skills

The Business Analyst shall be responsible for the value delivery of an in-house LNG optimistation product that will enable profit maximisation for our global business. You shall drive delivery of agile squads to ensure timely release of features that will provide our business with a strategic advantage in the industry.

Your Roles & Responsibilities:

• Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements translate them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria for the squad(s).
• Champion preferred ways of working into the Product team, ensuring best use of agreed agile and DevOps approaches, methods, and frameworks – driving alignment across squads and wider teams.
• Lead software developers, designers and architects to estimate efforts, plan capacity, identify dependencies and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Estimate effort, plan capacity, and drive overall productivity of team.
• Prioritise product backlog items by assessing risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact with key stakeholders.
• Validate deliverables to ensure acceptance criteria and definition of done is achieved.

Responsibilities

· Work with Program stakeholders including Business, Technology, Platform Transformation Team, Finance and HR across locations, to co-create an in-house system and to define future state processes

· Understand root cause of pain points impact to budgeting, approval workflow, work accounting, project portfolio management, capacity management etc

· Analyse and lay down business requirements for system development as well as for “to be” processes

· Understand and document “As-Is” process flows, map the “To-Be” process flows, engage stakeholders to align/implement new paradigm shifts and process enablers
