We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager to lead our project team in monitoring and managing the progression of electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge in Electrical and ELV services, with a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring compliance with design specifications and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Team to monitor and manage project progression and work within budget constraints
• Supervise subcontractors' work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples
• Liaise with relevant authorities, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding shop drawings, materials, and samples
• Review and align Electrical and ELV design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and guidelines
• Manage and execute projects within deadlines, addressing issues and updating progress in meetings with contractors
• Allocate work to Engineers and Supervisors, ensuring that jobs are achieved within standards and SOP

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Ability to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project
• Capable of leading a team and working under pressure
• Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for a senior role

PSC Freyssinet, an international civil contractor is looking for a self motivated Senior Project Engineer for civil projects in Singapore.

The Senior Project Engineer will be part of a Project Team and reports to the Construction Manager. The Senior Project Engineer will be involved in site work i.e. preparation of work sequences, method statement, scheduling of resources and preparation works for the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities

• Supporting engineering and supervision teams to deliver works in accordance with project specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Ensuring comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making.
• Generate client and internal reports for progress and to coordinate/schedule the execution of system verification walk downs.
• Maintaining productive relationships with the Project Team, client representatives, sub-contractors, foreman, consultants and the community.

Skills & Experience

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Experience and knowledge on post-tensioned / Bearings/Road Joints would be appreciated.
• Good communication skill to liaise with client/Main contractor/Sub contractor.
• Be familiar with usual design standards (Eurocode, BS, etc.) and Singapore Codes of Practice.
• Have good editorial skills (will write method statements and other technical documents).
• Be conversant with AutoCAD.
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Should be a good team player.
• The candidate should have at least five years' experience on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Build effective scrum/agile sprint framework for development teams (backend, web frontend, mobile frontend, QA)
2. Lead standups and meetings, record minutes and allocate engineering tasks via Jira
3. Define project goals and schedules, and assign resources based on set priorities
4. Remove tech and business/operational blockers, or escalate where necessary
5. Ensure project deliverables are met within set deadline; increase overall efficiency of engineering team

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience in tech/IT project management; overall company program management experience a plus
2. Experience in using Jira / Confluence, including ability to set up sprints, organize epics/stories/tasks, storypoint allocation, etc.
3. Strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent verbal and written ability in English and Chinese is required for effective communication with stakeholders, based in English and Chinese-speaking regions.
4. Ability to work with distributed or remote teams
5. PMP / Agile / Scrum certifications preferred
6. Strong sense of business and product priorities, with ability to relay to engineers, product, ops and other business stakeholders, and anticipate as well as remove blockers ahead of time

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for liaising and coordinating with both internal and external parties to ensure compliance with waste collection requirements at customer sites.
• Oversee the company’s onsite waste collection processes, including daily collection, logistics arrangements, site waste container inspections, maintenance, and electronic submission of waste consignment based on weighbridge information.
• Work closely with customer site operations day coordinators and Environmental Specialists to understand their needs and clarify any uncertainties.
• Assist in planning both minor and major shutdown maintenance waste containment requirements alongside the maintenance team, day coordinators, and operations staff.
• Ensure all company personnel adhere to safety, environmental, and health policies, reviewing their work activities and Job Safety and Risk Assessments (JSRA).
• Manage communications with customers, including following up on emails and providing periodic updates on any required follow-up actions.
• Organize Safety Induction Course (SIC) orientations and other focused training sessions for company personnel.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the collection process, discuss improvement ideas with customers and company personnel, and submit proposals for final approval.
• Participate in contractor meetings as required by customers, providing feedback and required actions to the Integrated Waste Management (IWM) Assistant Manager.
• Conduct investigations, report findings, and implement preventative and corrective actions involving company personnel at customer premises.
• Liaise with relevant statutory bodies such as the National Environment Agency (NEA) regarding licenses and permits, keeping the customer informed about regulatory changes.
• Assist the IWM Assistant Manager in managing the customer care program, monitoring customer satisfaction, complaints, changes in customer’s personnel, equipment, processes, materials used, and business strategy.
