Charging/Billing Roles

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Opportunity Identification:Conduct market research to understand business trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes in China and Singapore.
   Identify new business opportunities in these regions by assessing potential clients, markets, and business sectors.
   Monitor local regulations, economic conditions to ensure alignment with business goals.
   
2. Client Relationship Development:Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in both China and Singapore.
   Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and business needs.
   Understand local business culture and adapt communication and negotiation strategies accordingly.
   
3. Sales Strategy & Proposal Management:Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop region-specific sales strategies and value propositions.
   Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients in China and Singapore.
   Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
   
4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Coordinate with the product, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver tailored solutions and support to clients in China and Singapore.
   Participate in joint projects and initiatives to support company objectives in both regions.
   
5. Market Expansion & Partnerships:Identify and pursue new business partnerships and collaborations that align with company goals and regional market opportunities.
   Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the company’s footprint and presence in China and Singapore.
   
6. Reporting & Market Intelligence:Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, sales pipelines, and market trends in China and Singapore.
   Monitor competitors and emerging industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive in both markets.
   

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in business development or partnership management within the biotechnology sector, specifically in R&D.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, with a focus on China and Singapore markets.
• Strong understanding of business cultures, regulations, and industry trends in both China and Singapore.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across different time zones.

Job Description

• Formulate sales strategies and conduct sales activities including preparation of proposals for JGCAP covering Singapore and its neighboring markets in APAC region. The position is expected to formulate specific short-, medium- and long-term sales strategies for JGCAP based on its business and operation policy and drive the sales growth and business performance to achieve our target.
• Collect and interpret market information and regularly report to managements, especially focusing on the opportunities in areas of energy, chemical, life sciences, industrial and urban infrastructure in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
• Develop and implement measures to explore new business opportunities (new client and new business domain) in our targeted area.
• Identify key issues in business strategy of the company and formulate sales strategies to address them.
• Take operational lead to develop and adjust sales strategies to achieve the financial target of the company.
• Take operational lead to develop and compile proposals by collaborating with relevant divisions/departments of the company while creating the winning strategy.
• Implement measures to explore new business opportunities (new customers and new business domain), as well as build and maintain trusting relationship with new customers, based on the sales strategy.
• Lead negotiations with customers together with project team of the company, including commercial and contract matters. This position is particularly required to handle various types of projects with several stakeholders (both internal and external) and well communicate with our clients and expected extensive knowledge in the business side of the projects.
• Communicate with various stakeholders, including shareholders, partners, relevant government agencies and customers (including existing and new customers) in Singapore and across the APAC region to build and maintain trusting relationships.
• Work together with internal teams to develop proposals including technical idea and solutions to achieve sales targets by ensuring the best possible services and effective communications to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field or business administration.
• Minimum 7 of experience in Oil & Gas and or Life-Science and infrastructure related industry as sales, including more than 3 awarded PJs with a value of 50MMUSD or more.
• In-depth practical knowledge and understanding of contractual practices and contracts in EPC projects.
• Technical and/or engineering knowledges in energy, chemical, life sciences, industrial and urban infrastructure is preferable.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to think "outside the box" to solve problems.
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Prepare monthly reports and consolidation of data for the relevant Business Units.
• Assist in the preparation/collation of email circulars, PowerPoint presentations, etc as and when needed.
• Management of projects which includes liaising and follow up with stakeholders on behalf of the partner he/she reports to.
• Organisation and coordinate projects, meetings and related trainings.
• To monitor and track training hours.
• Coordinating with vendors to assist stakeholders in travel arrangements.

Requirements

• Diploma/degree holder in any field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business support role
• Microsoft Office and good knowledge of PowerPoint presentations or related presentation tools will be highly advantageous.
