Management and Financial Reporting:

This role involves strategic planning, managing resources, liaising with stakeholders, and leading project teams to drive complex projects to successful outcomes. The Project Director also plays a critical role in mitigating risks and identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.

You'll break new ground by:

• Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; create detailed plans covering budgets, schedules, and risk management.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and managing expectations.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, review forecasts, and ensure financial efficiency within approved limits.
• Quality and Compliance: Implement quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and client requirements.
• Risk Management: Manage opportunities or variation works, and identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to avoid delays or budget impacts.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor project performance against KPIs and provide detailed reports and post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.

You excel in the following:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects valued between $8M and $15M, with specialized expertise in BMS, Security, CCTV, Fire, and ELV systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Asana) and financial forecasting tools.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse project teams, inspire productivity, and foster teamwork.
• Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen and the ability to conduct budget analysis and financial reporting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client and stakeholder engagement.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, develop solutions, and make decisions under pressure.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.

1. Responsible for co-ordination of all technical activities on assigned project and assist in ensuring successful completion and execution of the assigned projects.

2. Participate in client or contractor site meetings and inspections to ensure site installation is carried in accordance to the technical specification of the project.

3. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and project participants in the projects, to resolve all site issue hindering the work progress.

4. Assist in planning, scheduling and coordination of works and ensure proper deliverables and full compliance to the authority standards.

5. Assist in all project management and coordination activities delegated by project manager; including day-to-day interaction with clients, preparation of project proposals and production coordination.

6. Assist in all project administration where required

7. Report to the Project Manager on any site issues hindering the work progress. For example, report any change of design or architectural plan, incurring addition work to our trade. Highlight those changes that might results omission or variation cost.

8. Report to the Project Manager monthly work progress carried out on site.

9. Any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Account for all the execution of site progress
• To prepare technical specifications
• Attends Job set-up meetings, and site meetings to assists in resolving technical/operation issues
• Schedule for work activities and inspection
• Preparing, scheduling, and coordinating with Consultants, Main Contractor, Architect, and Subcontractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of site works
• Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary works within a project including handling project planning, budget and cost control, safety, and quality system implementation
• Assist with cost control and estimating activities
• On-site to supervise to carry out work
• Overall planning, implementation, execution, and completion of sections of the project to ensure successful completion of the project
• Coordinated with multiple sub-constructors in preparing master plans, design briefs, and obtaining all necessary permits
• Planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule
• Report and monitor the progress of project to the Project Manager
• Assisting the Project Manager on ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Requirement

• NTC or Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Familiar with Electrical/ACMV/Fire Protection/ Plumbing & Sanitary in Singapore
• Min 3 years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering related works in office fit-out and construction industry
• The candidate will assist and support the Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of projects.
• PR or Singaporean preferable.
• 5.5 days work week.
