Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall execution of site works and ensuring timely progress of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Monitor the work progress on daily basis and push for work progress with the appointed subcontractors
• Assist to prepare internal and external reports pertaining to project status
• Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports
• Collaborate with design team and engineers regarding the design and cutting lists and shop drawings
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Assist to obtain required permits and licences
• Ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
• Timely submission of progress claims to the client/main-contractor
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
• Evaluate sub-con progress and certify claims accordingly
• Assist procurement team with negotiation of contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Façade Design/Engineering, Curtain Wall & Aluminium Cladding
• Good project management and coordination skills ensuring project completion timeline are met promptly
• Good communication skills essential for team-based working
• Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
• Good time management habits and ability to multi-task
• Core interest in the façade industry with emphasis on detailing and engineering
• Analytical problem solving
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and Staadpro

• Assist Project Manager for all managerial and administrative aspects of the ACMV projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing
• Liaise closely with main contractor, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities
• Able to lead and work closely with the ACMV project team
• Manage and planning manpower allocation
• Monitor ACMV project costing, budget and schedule
• Co-ordinate site works, workflows and inspection with main contractors site representatives including attending site co-ordination meetings
• Other adhoc duties

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in related trades.
• Prior experience in ACMV Works will be an added advantage.

• The Project Manager (PM) is overall responsible to manage the project team to meet or exceed customer contractual requirements for the delivery of the project.

• Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will develop, update and maintain the project plan and schedule. The PM will manage the project scope, monitor project costing and forecasts, and develop/ maintain the project quality plan. The PM is also responsible to develop and update the project risk management plan, project team organization chart, plan and perform project communications/reporting. The PM will work together with Sales Team to manage project procurement. The Project Manager will also manage the communications, reporting, and expectations of internal and external project stakeholders.

• The project team members reporting to the Project Manager will include Solution Architect, Technical Lead, Developers, Testers and Support Engineers. Product Specialists, Technical Subject Matter Experts and System Engineers will support the Project Team as required, to fulfill specific project scope and responsibilities.

• The Project Manager will also support pre-sales activities, focusing on the technical solution, effort and timeline estimation and project delivery aspects of the tender/RFP proposal/presentation.

Skills:

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.

• Al least 5 years working experience as a Project Manager with experience to deliver Railway related projects.

• Knowledge and experienced in the following technology areas will be advantageous:

o BIM modelling/Micro-station 3D CAD

o Primavera P6 Scheduling

• Deployment and support of PC based hardware, and custom developed software in multiple sites across Singapore

• Project Management Certifications such as PMP is preferred.

1. To assist Project Manager in site supervision.

2. Responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of ACMV works.

3. To manage a team of supervisors, workers, subcontractors and vendors to execute works within given time frame.

4. To resolve site issues with supervisors, maincontractor, subcontractors, vendors and or/ related 3rd parties.

5. To co-ordinate site works, workflows and inspection with main contractors site representatives.

6. To plan implement and monitor weekly works activities with a team of supervisors in accordance to the master schedule.

7. To monitor work progresses, productivity, qualities and materials usages and ensure those items meet the targeted schedule.

8. Other adhoc duties

Requirements:

Degree/ Diploma/ ITC certificates in related trades with preferred 1-2 years experiences.

Prior experience in ACMV Works will be an added advantage. Able to work independently in a team environment.

BCSS and any other WSH related certificates.
