The Business Risk team

Our team helps organisations tackle issues around governance, risk, and controls so that they can make strategic and risk-informed decisions. We support financial institutions and other businesses by conducting internal audits, assessing the effectiveness of their internal audit teams, reviewing internal controls, advising on regulatory compliance, and improving governance through enterprise risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research on client background and key risks, including the applicable MAS regulations for financial institutions
• Developing the scope of review, propose tailored audit work program and time schedules
• Coordinating kick off meetings and other planning activities
• Performing interviews/workshops with key stakeholders/senior management and testing of complex areas
• Preparing written reports, organising closing meetings, wrapping up audit work files, and supporting in the closure of the engagement
• Providing guidance to junior team member, as required

Qualifications and requirements

• Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a risk and control and compliance position in a big public accounting firm or a commercial environment. Individuals with a background in external audits may also apply.
• Professional qualification (CPA, CA, CIA) is highly preferred but not a pre-requisite
• Technical knowledge of relevant business risk areas. Familiarity with the Financial Services industry is preferred.
• Ability to prioritise and work independently and as a team player
• Strong sense of accountability, good time management and project management skills
• Effective report writing skills, proficiency with MS Office, strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Assist Head of Department – Compliance on the following:

AML/CFT compliance

• To monitor AML/CFT Compliance
• To conduct the half yearly audit and liaise with HODs on regular basis to regularise the screening process
• Conduct the New Joiners Training programme quarterly. To do a refresher training for all existing employees along with New Joiners. Conduct one training session for Agents
• To file the Suspicious Transactions with SPF and report to MAS
• Identify the sanctioned entities from the emails received from various regulatory authority and send to the respective departments
• To read through the regulations/guidelines, analyse the existing policy, and liaise with other insurance company AML professionals to get the latest update and modify the policy accordingly

The Director will also be responsible for identifying emerging opportunities and challenges in the region, developing forward-looking strategies, and exploring new partnerships to accelerate the energy transition. Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

Management of Program Leads

• Manage a team of passionate and experienced program leads, including, but not limited to, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Organisational Development, providing them with the right guidance and empowering them to do their best work.

• Working alongside the program leads to proactively scanning the countries and regional policy, energy, and economic environment for emerging challenges and opportunities for Tara’s work. We are looking for suitable candidates with experience in Hospital IT operations roles for our client in the healthcare domain, to support their Clinical Informatics System and Hospital IT Operation management services.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify a roadmap of technology solutions and enhancements
• Work closely with the Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition, and implementation of IT projects

Job scope

• To supervise and support the functions of incoming waste segregation including bulk waste and loose waste as well as weighbridge.
• To constantly monitor improve the department performance.
• To conduct periodic review of existing workflows and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements and executing the improvement plans.
• To supervise and ensure the effectiveness and smoothness of waste unloading, segregation and distribution.
• Daily and regular inspection of the plant processes and monitor the working area 5S and TPM activities, safety and discipline at works, machineries and equipment conditions.
• Ensure incoming waste streams being checked properly for suitable treatment processes and current safe work procedures are suitable for handling by operation staff.
