Overall Job Purpose

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in design visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) systems a plus.
• Experience with design procurement and tendering processes.
• Keen understanding of design constructability, able to identify potential constructability issues early in the design process and collaborate with designers to find solutions. Experience working with contractors and understanding how design decisions impact buildability and cost.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to the industry. Ability to oversee construction activities, identify potential quality issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Group Project Manager to join our Operations – External Manufacturing team on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Group Operations Enabling Functions & Supply Chain Director Asia, Middle East and North Africa, core focus of the role is to lead and manage commercial projects of medium to high complexity, as assigned. This includes mainly:

• Allocating project management responsibility for Global and ANZ projects
• Providing leadership and training for project managers in the iLaunch process
• Overseeing project and risk management of iGate projects through the iGate + iLaunch process to deliver On Time In Full launches
• Coordinating core project teams, prioritisation and motivation to drive high performance & collaboration
• Stakeholders management and alignment at operational and leadership levels – internal and external
• Managing interactions of project managers with initiative owners and sponsors to ensure a high level of adaptability to navigate through change of scope, priority and people styles
• Identifying and driving continuous improvements in project management to increase efficiency and speed to market

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills and personal attributes:

• 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech
• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• Manufacturing, PM experience required.
• Project Management Certification (or proven equivalent experience)
• Excellent problem solving skills leveraging on mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to solve complex business problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where little standardization exists.
• Ability to effectively present complex information in a simple way and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members and partners.
• Flexible, adaptable style
• Strong leadership, understand when to step in and be hands on to unblock situations and let go once action plan is clear
• Autonomous, able to seek answers and build internal and external relationships

Principal Responsibilities

• Evaluate individual staff performance through regular quality audits to ensure all customer interactions meet professional, quality and compliance guidelines
• Conduct regular call sharing with staff to ensure alignment of best practices and high service standards
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Conduct thematic analysis examining themes across multiple products, services or processes to identify trends, patterns and common issues
• Identifying training and development needs through analysing data to identify areas of improvement
• Supporting in the design of training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization and the individual
• Supporting in evaluation of training and development programmes

Qualifications

• Degree / Graduate with knowledge/working experience of Singapore Insurance is preferred
• Demonstrates understanding of customer needs and behaviour
• Ability to communicate cross functionally
• Good learning attitude, analytical, problem solving and with good time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to write well
• Experience in a customer service environment or related position, preferably in a financial industry
• Committed, self-disciplined, Customer Service oriented, able to multitask with an eye for details
• Ability to work independently, and with high level of initiative in a high pressure and tight timeline environment
• Team worker, works well under pressure and self-driven
