Our Business Support Management (BSM) team of JP Morgan is tasked with a variety of business administration and control responsibilities and provides general support of day to day business functions. We are a function within Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance & Business Management organization.

As a Business Change Manager within Business Support Management, you will be responsible for administrative and control-focused support to our CIB business. You will collaborate with people across all levels and multiple lines of business to execute deliverables e.g., Business Managers, CIB BSM global counterparts, and Internal Business Partners such as Business Control, Compliance, Human Resources, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage on/off boarding process e.g., verification checks, provision of technology and management of technology accesses including hardware, applications, market data for joiners and leavers
• Implement controls including consecutive leave, physical access management, business resiliency support, centralized policy and procedure
• Communicate and coordinate implementation of firmwide policies and changes in strategy; Partner with regional and global teams to ensure business initiatives are achieved
• Coordinate Real Estate matters including space planning, move management and location strategy; Represent CIB in firmwide and regional real estate strategy reviews and execution of associated logistics. Liaise with Global Real Estate and Facilities on projects and day to running of our locations
• Ensure accuracy of headcount projections used in space planning; Prepare reporting and analytics on our headcount and real estate footprint; Manage space assignments to optimize the utilization
• Analyze operational changes and assess the change impact. Analyze and summarize data for presentation and interpretation
• Assist in day-to-day issues that arise e.g., seating constraints and Tririga/data issues
• Handle ad-hoc requests from business related to technology, real estate, resource allocation etc. Plan and oversee ad-hoc projects from execution through completion. Respond to audit and compliance queries

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in Investment Banking

The Asset & Wealth Management Strategic Transformation Office is a recently established entity tasked with overseeing comprehensive large-scale transformations. Roles & Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:-

1. Lead and coordinate Special Projects such as:-

a. To enhance the service quality of the Japanese Business;

b. To establish customer benefit services with vendors;

c. To introduce Japanese hospitality and culture to our employees, distribution channel, clients and society.

2. Report in Japanese regularly to our Head Office in Tokyo.

3. Provide customer service in Japanese to Japanese clients on their inquiries, requests, complaints and claims matters.

4. Provide Japanese language support to staff in other departments, where appropriate.

5. Provide administrative support.

6. Plan and organize visitations to clients (new business/renewal/claims happenings).

7. Develop good relationship with clients to maintain and enhance existing clients’ business.

8. Plan renewal strategies for Japanese corporate clients.

9. Prepare underwriting quotations to clients in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines.

10. Prepare referral form, issue Cover Notes and collect of premiums.

11. Maintain clients’ details and information.

Job Requirements:-

1. Minimum Degree Holder qualification;

2. At least 3 years of experience in General Insurance industry;

3. Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese for handling local and Japanese clients;

4. Good understanding of doing Japanese business;

5. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;

6. Able to multi-task, and is a team player, conscientious, tactful and willing to learn new skills;

7. Organized and has the ability to work under pressure;

8. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
